Burnt Stones is an awesome book and a must read. Casey Jack Tucker faces the decision of a lifetime: Go to college and on to a baseball career or stay at home and raise a child that his one nite lover is threatening to abort. The story that follows is gut wrenching and heartfelt. The trials and tributlations of a single father are brought to life in a manner that puts you right in the story with all of the characters. Danny Fisher does an excellent job of ripping out your heart and having you fe...more

This book is a story about life, about something that happens all over the world every day. This is a book about human emotions, betrayal, and heartbreak.

Casey is an 18 year old guy who makes a mistake that most teenagers make at some point, unprotected sex. Which leads to the girl, Allison getting pregnant. With Casey's baseball career on the line and Allison's dreams getting further and further away, what are two 18 year olds supposed to do?

This book is about their lives and decisions that t...more

I have read really good books and I have really bad books. I've realized that the thing that makes a great book is how you can relate to the book. With 'Burnt Stones', Ms. Fisher allows for any reader to be able to relate to the book. Every character is personalized and you are bound to be able to relate to at least one character in one way or another. If your kind of book is one that absorbs you into the context to the point that you can't bring yourself to put it down, this is definitely the b...more

I thought this book was a good read and it is. It is well written with good plots and some twists. It has some truth to is because this can happen to anyone not only to a character of a book. All in all i recommend someone to read this book because I believe it is extremely good.

Danny Fisher began her writing career in 2007 as a direct result of a failed job interview. The personal statement she was required to write as a part of the application process didn't land her the gig, but it did impress the interviewing panel so much so they suggested she write a book. Danny purchased her mini-pink Acer laptop that day, and the rest as they say, is history.

Currently, Danny is th...more
