Mostly bondage sex scenes. Plot was too vague with parts never explained.
This plot was odd and hard to understand. Mazati was a warrior in the ancient Mexican Aztec civilization before the Aztecs were destroyed by Cortez. Strange book, hard to categorize. Perhaps you could call it a paranormal/time travel/bondage book? Ancient Aztec warrior who semi-survived the final battles with the Spanish has spent several centuries in the Aztec equivalent of limbo sees our heroine and thinks she's the one that can connect him and his culture to the future.
