دوستان گرانقدر، این کتاب از 219 صفحه و 19 فصل تشکیل شده است... داستان در مورد مردی به نام «مسیو برژره» است که استاد دانشگاه میباشد و به قولِ خودش، زندگیِ حقیر و محدودی دارد.. همسرش ساده است و از نظرِ «مسیو برژره» دارایِ اندامی ناموزون میباشد و 3 فرزندِ دختر دارد که حتی اندکی دلبستگی به او ندارند
همه چیز عادی سپری میشود، امّا زندگیِ این خانواده زمانی دستخوش تغییر شده و به سوی نابودی میرود که «مسیو برژره» بهترین شاگرد خود، «مسیو رو» که به تازگی از خدمتِ سربازی بازگشته است و صورت سیاه و موی فر و مج
I must say this was not Anatole France's best work. It didn't have much of a plot, a husband caught his wife having an affair and she ended up moving out. It was mostly conversations about the state of France, which were quite interesting, but hard to put into context. While I can read Collette and have a reasonable understanding of French culture at the time, this just left me a little confused. The biggest problem was that the characters seemed a bit too much like caricatures than real people. ...more
