I'm not sure if there's an updated version of this book, but the copy I read was four years old and proves just how fast things online move. Many links and suggested sites/software/ideas are long gone or dramatically different than depicted in the book.

It was not as useful as I'd hoped it would be, since so much was out of date, but for a complete beginner who'd never done anything with a blog before, it would be a good starting point.

I did get some help with the early chapters deciding which blog site to use and how to get started, but I was hoping for more ideas on content considering the title of the book. And the last chapters were so complicated with codes I really just skimmed over them.

This book provides lots of good concept. However, the software it used probably is out of date.
There're tons of new blogging system currently

3 starts for good concept but out of date software.

I'm sure when the book was published it was great, but unfortunately now it is pretty much irrelevant due to the advances in technology.

I really should have read this before I started. I already knew most of the stuff she talked about but I learned some new things. And even though it was kind of outdated, it was still helpful.

A very good blogging book that is useful for those starting out or looking for ideas. Particularly helpful for the hobby blogger looking for some encouragement.
