3.5 stars. Decent, dense, dry.

Works well if you flip through and then keep an overview of the table of contents in your memory so that when you need details on a specific topic, you know it can be found within.

The section 1 FAQs are a good way to quiet the basic concerns that usually impede the writing process (at least for me).

A course on writing produced by Writer's Digest Magazine. The first quarter is a question and answer format before moving on to instruction on techniques with examples. A listing of literary agents is included with short statements about each. There is a CG-ROM included.
Great source of info. I am currently learning to properly format articles for magazine submissions. WDU online has a great deal more information on which magazines are currently looking for submissions, length the articles should be and how to submit.

The book gives some book tips, but what I like best is the 12 month subscription to writers market.
