Humans
Another 'Must-Read' for all human beings, particularly those who are interested in the theatre.
Thrill as Beckett tears apart centuries of convention, and takes some of the greatest steps a dramatist ever made. Breathtakingly eloquent, often without even saying a word.
His fiction was also wonderful, so check that out if you have a low tolerance for scripts.

I think people fear and revere Beckett way too much. His work is so playful and funny when you don't think of it as "the great existential work". It ends up being more profound when you're laughing, anyway.

Language lovers
I love Samuel Beckett. He's one of the few authors you can read translated and it comes out EVEN BETTER. Happy Days and Waiting for Godot are probably his best. Just don't expect much actual action!

"That passed the time. (It would have passed in any case.) Yes, but not so rapidly."
