It's a wonderful start by a new author. I was a fan of the podcast and I'm glad to see it in print!

I really liked it. Right up until the author just suddenly stopped writing. Aw, what a shame; this clearly is a three or four star novel that has simply not been completed. And as long as you don't want any resolution at the end, this is a fine choice for summer reading. But the fact is that the author bloody well never finishes this story. I don't mean she didn't wrap up all of the dangling threads of the plot. She didn't tie off ANY of them.

I thought this book was a really good book. It was easy for me to visualize the setting which may be in part because it was originally released as an audio podcast. While the ending left me underwhelmed I will say the overall story was really well and I look forward to reading the other books in this series.
