This book arrived at my door with perfect timing. I've been a bit discouraged lately with my foot injury taking so long to heal. And feeling a bit sorry for myself. The message in this book is uplifting and encouraging. The author acknowledges that sometimes life isn't easy. Sometimes things can be hard (in it are examples of finances, job stress, personal relationships) and we don't understand why. But through our struggles we can hang onto the promise that God doesn't let go of us.

This wasn't the book I thought it was. It was in the Children's section at the library, and I was looking for something for my son, who has been having trouble with his temper. After reading it, though, it seems to have been written as a quick read for adults who just want something to help adjust their thinking on a bad day. This is one of those books that you'll need to purchase in multiple quantities.

It's cute, yes, but not so sickeningly sweet that you'll roll your eyes as you toss it away from you. (Or am I the only cynical reader in the bunch?)

The photos for each page are all kids and the text speaks to everyone who's ever had a bad day, week, or month. In fact, when I got my copy, I knew immediately who it was perfect for (and then I thought of two other people).
