Originally published in Vestal Review, (July, 2002).

Richard dreams of a gorgeous woman. She is sketched out like those figures on black and white posters: a few long fluid lines that suggest so much more than points in space, but the full body of a woman. But is she real?

Oh Jesus. I wish I had seen that coming so I could skip. A man notices a cockroach in his home. And then has a dream of a sexy lady. And he almost feels like he can feel her lips on his.

Ew. Ew ew. Effective, but ew.

I'd maybe give this a higher rating, but it's also a buck on Amazon, which is pretty high for the length. I listened to it free from the Drabblecast, though, so go ahead and give that a try, instead.
