Second chances to rewind time and revive days? Interesting concept, I am looking forward to reading this book.
After reading that some of my fellow readers have placed this book with authors behaving badly, I'm now going to proceed with caution. Either way, I will never read a book from an author who attacks her readers. I thought author could come to understand the meaning of criticism.
It's not that hard to accept good and bad reviews. I just thought since authors were adults, they would behave...more

AFTER YOU is an amazing story based off an awesome premise I used to think about a lot as a kid: what if you had the ability to rewind time?
I was lucky enough that Jess let me read her story several times as it went through editing changes, and each time I was awed at her storytelling skills. AFTER YOU has that sparse style I absolutely adore (and am incapable of). Her writing is in present tense and this is one of those stories that can totally pull it off. AFTER YOU kept me up all night and made me weep. Uncontrollably.
The characters are amazing, and can I just say that I absolutely adore Wall. Seriously. <3
The premise is awesome and the story itself beautifully agonizing. Or agonizingly beautiful.
(I should probably mention that I read this as a draft...)

I am blessed to have read (nearly every version/draft of) this book, and I will tell you this book is beautifully written, complex, unique, thoughtful and emotional. I will write a real review of After YOU when it's closer to release date, but, for now, I'll just say: you will want to read this book.
I see big things in Jessica Corra's writing career future.

I believe in magic, chocolate, love, and words.
I live in the Philadelphia area where I spend my time reading in the parks and eating my way through all the vegan-friendly, gluten-free restaurants in the city. The internet is my second home. I like surprising people. I enjoy baking and cooking, swing dancing, health and fitness, and, of course, books.
