As pretty much anyone who reads my reviews knows, I am very picky and one thing I don’t like can ruin an entire book for me. I say that because my other experiences reading this authors books (I think I only read two) don’t always get the best review from me. I think I am the only person that didn’t like The Angel of 13th Street. Anyway I am delighted I loved this story and I get to write a nice review for Eden. I don’t have a lot to say but it is all nice.

I will admit I was so nervous reading...more

I think that Eden Winters did a good job transforming the selected photo into a story. I liked the beginning of the story but I feel like Maxxie got lucky. He treated Brandon REALLY poorly and even after that, Brandon gave him all the space and time he needed. Brandon was almost unreal in his understanding. There was no argument, no accusation, Brandon just let him off the hook. I would have liked to see Maxxie do more to earn Brandon's trust back after the way he treated him. I knew that Dave w...more

Another m/m short story. Both cute/sweet and angsty, but didn't do all that much for me in the end. 2.5-ish read for me, but I do appreciate the generosity of these authors for providing us with so much great content for free!

Hard to imagine the trauma that anyone goes through when faced with the choice between losing someone you love when you won't come out, or losing your family because you come out. I really felt the intensity of the emotions surrounding these guys and I really just wanted to snuggle them both! Loved this story - thank you, Eden!

Good, but too short to enjoy it properly. Cute and a little bit angsty, gives us full scale of emotions.
It's kind of sad that RL don't work that way. But, to be honest, books are the only place when impossible becomes possible, ILY really can solve something and anyone can find happiness :)

**2.5 stars**

This was a cute, short read but it just didn't excite me. I wanted to punch Max a little. He was a major jerk to Brandon, who liked him for who knows what reason. The only reason I rated it as highly as I did was that it was sweet and easy with a nice HEA.

*happy sigh*

I just loved this. So angsty at the start, and then just a perfect ending for these two guys. I love Bran's scheming talking about Dave, and I loved Max's parents' reactions to his coming out. This was very sweet, I really enjoyed it. Thanks!

This was a "Aawwww" story for me. I was worried. It's hard when the two people in a couple are at different stages in their life, so to speak. Max was afraid and Brandon was sneaky, but alls well that ends well :)

A beautifully written short that managed to make me cry, with sadness for Max's fear & doubt, and with joy for Brandon & Max's reunion!

A high school/college romance story that is a nice mix of bitter (beginning) and sweet (end). Emotional without being too heavy.
Lutawolf
This was a sweet and well told story. Very well done.
Yvonne
3.5 stars. The title fits this one. Totally sweet.
Penny
Even though I enjoyed the tale I found myself thinking it wasn't very original.

I'm a down home country girl and avid reader who made the leap to author. I enjoy great books, great friends, and lively discussions. Since joining Goodreads I've met many wonderful people, some who I now consider friends over and above in the cyber world. Yes, I read reviews of my work, for my goal is to become a better writer, and what better way to learn than to listen to those who see the good...more
