I couldn’t put this book down. It was fast paced, and had it all, action, suspense, and romance. I didn’t guess the plot before it was revealed. It was a fiction book, which kept me flipping pages. I would have called the police if I was faced with what Cass was. I will say it made my heart flutter to read about Cass, and Cody. They were not perfect, they made mistake which made the story seem more real. They had to work at their relationship but the love for each other was as strong. Good book! ...more
Good book. Cody was glad he finally found his wife, but things were very different. She wasn't content to sit back and do as she was told, she wanted to have a true partnership. She was also pregnant, and Cody had told her he wasn't ready for children yet before she left. Now he had to decide if he really wanted a life and family with Cassie, or to let her walk away. Meanwhile, Cassie had to decide if she was willing to accept less than everything. She also had to avoid getting killed by whoever ...more

In Sharpe's romantic suspense novel, Cody Westin had been a man on a mission since his wife, Cassie had left him. After six long months of searching, he was reunited with the woman he loved, only to find her very much pregnant and accused of unspeakable crimes making it clear just how much had changed. Heading back to the safety of Wyoming, danger soon followed, and now Cody had a family to protect and hopefully save in the process. This was by far, the best installment of the Open Sky Ranch ser ...more

Wow, Cody Westin sure doesn't want his life to mirror his father's. He is motivated to find his missing wife by trying to prevent being like his parents, his protective nature and possibly his love for his wife. Knowing the recent results of his family's relationships, you can't help but cheer Cody on to find a happy ending. There are so many seemingly small and large details revealed that you can't wait to see how this encounter is resolved.

The final in the Open Sky Series, was about the relationship between Cass and Cody. Cass left just as Cody'd mother had, except he was not going to do as his dad had, nothing. He located her, as she worked as a caretaker for a very rich elderly lady. Again, murder and mayhem occurred. The ending had quite a few surprises. Overall, the book was an easy evening read to relax to.

I was born in Sacramento, California. As a child, I wrote plays for the neighbor kids and invited their parents to performances. As I got older, I started my own family newspaper, handwritten and hand delivered, for the extortion price of 25 cents. Eventually, I moved into writing angst-ridden poems and journals – lots of them. Right after graduating from high school, I married the love of my life ...more
