This book was the saddest of them all, partly because it came into history as I know it. More familiar landmarks in time, so I could predict happenings. Still a very moving novel, summing up 73 years of the Callahan's life. At this point they have grown grandchildren, and can look back over a very fulfilling life. I feel as if I was a part of that, which always makes me happy when reading a book.

This completed the series of the Callahan family. I enjoyed reading this very much. I would recommend it to LDS readers. I really liked the historical accounts.
