I just finished reading Mistletoe, Midwife - Miracle Baby by Anne Fraser. I must say this is one the worst stories I have ever read. Sentimental, foolish and utterly unbelievable. I disliked Ellen, she was so desperate to have a baby that she was willing to die to have one. And I found her whole attitude to life dreadful, it was all about wanting to be a part of a family and not being in one, when she was actively not willing to do more to have one. I cried a lot through both stories in this book and laughed too. I felt connected to the characters and felt for their situations. I will be reading this book over and over again.

Anne Fraser was born in Scotland. When she was eight her parents took the family to South Africa where Anne spent the next nine years.
