I feel the need to warn people away from this series. First, a caveat - I'm ok with "adult comics", so that is not really the issue here.
The so-called "psychopath" is my main gripe. The guy is not a psychopath, in any sense of the word. He's batshit crazy, sure. But he is by no means a psychopath. Source: I'm a psychologist, innit. Also, read "The Wisdom of Psychopaths" by Kevin Dutton and "The Psychopath Test" by Jon Ronson. That will explain pretty well what a psychopath is, how they think and...more

I have to say that I've yet to be completely drawn into this series and this volume didn't really give me that "OMG, must read" feeling. It's decent and has some great artwork, but that just doesn't seem to be enough for me. It's a shame, since I do like Lapham's Ferals series.
The story here is pretty much what you've come to expect from the series: the Crossed are incredibly messed up people that are driven to do terrible things to each other due to an unknown virus. Some of the Crossed were ob...more

A story as shocking as the art found in the Crossed Panels.
If you thought Walking Dead was about the fear of living with humans in a world of zombies - then this one takes that fear of the normal to an even higher level.
Revealing a sick sick sick character - this story is about people - who we would not like to believe we know but then who knows maybe we do.

This series is not for everyone, so I can't recommend this book for the feint of heart. However, if you like to read a story that is told from a twisted and sick person side after the fall of man an civilization, then this is a great volume to read.
I liked the anti-hero aspect and felt that this series was much better than Crossed: Family Values.

Minor Spoiler for Issues #1 & #2
I wasn't expecting this volume to be this good. I had loved the first volume by Garth Ennis. Family Values was average for me. I don't think I've read any comic whose main story teller was a villain. This was new for me. The panels are done so beautifully by the artist. They aren't only squares but made from things around the characters like fallen shelf or even a jelly bean. I really enjoyed this comic. The ending seemed a bit incomplete but it was unexpected...more

La prima serie di Crossed era carina.. quelle successive sono una peggio dell'altra.
Well, it's not my cup of tea, but the book does what it's intended for, which is to disgust and shock you. There isn't any continuity to follow from before so even a new reader can follow along. It's really more of the same vulgar horror material so readers of volume 1 and 2 will know what to expect. I personally don't understand the appeal of this series, but I know I'd much rather David Lapham were writing and drawing crime stories instead.
