Sein neuester Thriller Nacht über den Wassern spielt im September 1939. Der 2. Weltkrieg hat gerade begonnen und in Southampton bereitet sich die Crew des Flying Clipper, einer Boeing B-314, auf den letzten zivilen Flug über den Atlantik vor. Das mächtige Flugboot, das detailgetreu im Buch abgebildet und beschrieben ist, macht den Flug luxuriös und komfortabel -- allerdings auch nicht für jeden erschwinglich.

Eine kleine Gruppe von Reisenden, mit ganz unterschiedlichen Motiven tritt die Reise an. Was jedoch keiner ahnt: Der Tod fliegt mit.

Ein spannender Thriller um Intrigen, Entführung, Erpressung und natürlich einer Liebesgeschichte. Besonders schön ist die Schilderung des Clippers mit seinem Salon, der Hochzeitssuite und den samtbezogenen Sitzen. Übrigens, es wurden weltweit von diesem Flugzeugtyp nur zwölf Exemplare gebaut.
