As expected, this book is insulting. this author has clearly never lived with anyone with ADD. This is not just a disciplinary problem; we are not just poor parents. His tirade against the drugs used to treat ADD gives me pause...yes, they include drugs from the amphetamine family, but as with many medical treatments, risks vs. benefits must be carefully weighed.
