In rhyming text, a boy's fondness for the yellow rubber ducky with whom he bathes is described. Clearly, a toy such as this one would make bath time a lot more fun. This duck splashes in the bubbles, tastes the water, bobs up and down, and looks for something to eat. Even when the boy heads to bed, he dreams of that playful little duck. The illustrations are filled with the bright yellow and orange colors of the duck, the vibrant blues of the bath water, and the smiling face of a contented child ...more
