This cheetah book is awesome and informative. It tells the story of one cheetah cub in particular, which makes it more interesting for the child. It talks about what the cheetah looks like, what happens when they're born, how the cheetah grows up and becomes strong, and how they are taught to hunt on their own. Each page is filled with facts about the life cycle of a cheetah and is written in a way that is understandable for young children. At the end of the book tells some more interesting fact...more

First graders really liked it. It was okay and has lovely illustrations. The writing style and information provided is not outstanding though I did learn about cheetahs "chirping."
