This was a pretty good book. it was written by a man who grew up in the old Oklahoma/Indian Territory. He told of his relations with cowboys and other travelers along the Chisholm Trail, the main thoroughfare to drive cattle from Texas to Kansas. He also told of his friendly relations with Indians in the area. Much of his book was set within 50 miles or so of my home, so it was cool to read about local history.
