Look, I know it may be difficult to take me seriously because I've given the Kris Jenner book 4 stars, but hear me out. It's good. I mean come on - Kris admits to cheating on Robert Kardashian in a scandalous affair with some loser AND gives us intimate details on the whole Nicole Brown Simpson murder!! She even tells us wether or not she thinks O.J. is guilty. In fact, I was shocked that such a huge chunk of this book was about that case and so little was written about Kris' now famous family. ...more
Judge away, but this shit was $3.99 at TJ Maxx and I'm a sucker for a cheap book. She's pretty shameless but whatever she's doing is working, whatever she's selling people are buying and I've been known to get dragged into an ep or two of Keeping up with the Kardashians.

She's pretty candid about her affair and for all her success pretty much credits that as her one failure in life... and losing money on a town home. Her other eye-rolly moment was when everyone was gathered around her before her
Nothing like a bit of reality - easy read and I have to say I enjoyed it

**Warning, Spoilers Ahead**

Even when I thought that this book might get annoying, it actually never did. Kris is very likeable in this book and she is honest about her life and her families'. It never seemed or felt to me like she was bragging about their successes and to be honest I really enjoyed her honesty about the whole OJ Simpson & Nicole Simpson tragedy. I had heard that they were close friends but I did not know how close until reading this book. It must have been very hard for the
“Kris Jenner and all things Kardashian” details Kris’s Jenner’s biography and stepping stones to creating the media frenzy currently enjoyed by this family. Kris herself came from a modest family background, her grandmother ran a candle store, and her father left them when she was little. Kris the teenager has a romance with a professional golfer, and gradually gets introduced to Robert Kardashian, a family-oriented lawyer of Armenian descent who fell head over heels for her. Kris doesn’t feel t ...more
I have a love/hate anything Kardashian philosophy. I try to keep up with what's going on in the entertainment world because you never know when I might be on a trivia show and a Kardashian question might come up.

On the one hand, I must say this book was better than Kyle Richards' recent book.

While on the one hand Kris is a real powerhouse, I'm not sure if it's all in a good way. She is a social climber and has done an excellent job at it. Her work ethic seems to have been picked up by some of h
One quote from the book says it all: How can I take these 15 minutes of fame and turn it into thirty.

That's all there is to say on the subject.
I picked this one up after hearing about it on the premiere episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" (yes, I watch that show, and I enjoy it) and hearing about some affair that Kris Jenner had. I didn't know she wrote a book, a few days later I got this from my local library, and honestly, I couldn't put it down.

The book starts off with Kris and her childhood. It spans her adulthood with a pro-golfer boyfriend till she meets Robert Kardashian. Then the book sorta goes to a different tone. I
This was our second book club pick and it made for a ridiculous book club party. I enjoyed reading about Kris's past and her affairs and how she came to meet Robert Kardashian. The biggest chunk of the book focuses on Nicole Brown Simpson and the OJ trial and how it affected her relationship with Robert and her children. That stuff was fascinating, but other than that she's just rambling about her new houses and her success and how everything is just "amaaaazing". Also it's super obvious that Ki ...more
Kris Jenner is the “Momager” to all her kids but is her husband Bruce’s manager as well. Most people today know her from their family show Keeping Up With The Kardashians but there is so much more to her story. How she got to the point she is in today. From where she started with the strong women who influenced her early in life, to her marriage to Robert Kardashian, to her friendships with Nicole and O.J. Simpson, to how she met and married Bruce Jenner. She tells all.

I really enjoyed this book, to a point. I am fascinated by the Kardashians (and my husband think's it's an irrational obsession), so I picked up the book. Kris is a decent writer and I was truly sucked in to learn about her upbringing and how she came to marry Robert Kardashian. It was a great story.

Then there was the information about the OJ/Nicole story. She went into great depth about the deterioration of their relationship and the trial, which I found fascinating as well. I was really excite
I picked this one up from the library this week, and stayed up and read it all in one go, in a couple of hours. Because of only having poor peoples tv, I have only managed to see a few of the shows, when house sitting and watching a Keeping up with the Kardashians marathon. You can't avoid them though, that whole Kardashians are everywhere, magazines, TV and papers.

I didn't expect to like the book, I thought it would be all superficial frothy staff, however it did surprise me. Kris met her first
At first I started to watch the reality show just to get a laugh... at them- not with them. But as the episodes went by it became a guilty pleasure and just like that I was hocked. And as soon as I found out that Kris Jenner had written a book I instantly wanted to read it.

And I must say-
Wow what a strong magnificant woman Kris is! She deserves more credit than she is given. I enjoyed reading the story of her life, all the ups and the downs. She is really honest in this book and that is somethin
Many people think The Kardashians are just famous for being famous, but people don't take into account that they are real people, a real family, with real problems. I believe this book gives a look into Kris Jenners life that not many people know or understand. I like the fact that she doesn't hold back anything and lets the reader into everything that had happened in her life good or bad. She strives to be a great mother, great wife, businesswoman, and a rock for her family and friends. The boo ...more
I absolutely loved this memoir. The Kardashians are my guilty pleasure and just love this reality family. This book was not about the glitz and the glam but about Kris' life and the ups and downs she faced. I liked how a good portion of the book focused on her relationship with OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown and about the murder and trial. Definitely interesting. I recommend this book if you're a fan of the Kardashians, even if you're not it's still a good read!

Okay, this book was amazing. I began reading this with almost no expectations. I adore the Kardashians; I've seen every episode of every one of their TV shows and I'll always defend them against the nay-sayers. I know they've had some very tragic and dramatic backgrounds, but I just wasn't sure if I'd find this book interesting.
Honestly, this was amazing. Kris Jenner has had the most incredible life with some of the most heart-breaking things that can happen to a person. I truly admire all the K
All in all I really learned alot from reading this book. Kris covered her life's "defining moments" in pretty good detail up until most recently. It was interesting to learn that when she was younger she could have had her leg amputated. Luckily she didn't have to. When she divorced from Robert Kardashian she took nothing from him. She learned business skills very early on from her grandmother and mother.

I thought the pace of the book was very good. Kris wrote just the right amount for the subje
Everyone I know hates the Kardashians and what they represent (opulent celebritydom). Yet for some reason, people still continue to watch their reality tv show(s). So not for nothing, they are interesting enough (whether we admit it or not) and keep us amused with their lives.

So yes, I will admit that I really enjoyed reading this book. It felt very candid (at least her early life), especially in regards to Kris' marriage and divorce with Robert Kardashian. And oooooooooh OJ Simpson! I had comp
Sooo yes I just rated a Kardashian biography 5 stars haha. I KNOW. When I started it, I almost put it down after a few pages, because I thought the writing style was too simplistic and I was bored, BUT I waited and I was rewarded! It was very interesting to learn about the OJ SImpson case from an insiders perspective, and I feel like Kris is very honest about things. It made me feel connected to the whole family even more, and I think that being so open is part of their magic! Kris has had an in ...more
"Kris Jenner… and All Things Kardashian" was an honest insight into Kris Jenner’s personal life ( from her childhood to the age of fifty five). She used her own, personal experiences to prove to the readers that nothing is impossible to achieve as long as there is passion and perseverance. Personally, I loved how detailed she was in every chapter of the book. The amount of details in the book made me live the happy, the sad and the scary moments she experienced throughout her life, especially in ...more

i am a huge fan of the Kardashians; i've seen all of their shows, i own clothing items from their clothing line & so many other things. I read this book & it was actually nothing like i've expected! Objectively, this book is actually quite good. Jenner talks about her childhood, her knowing Robert Kardashian, her scandalous affair, her relationship to Nicole & gives jaw-dropping details about the OJ trial & post-trial. Though by the end of the book, I felt that she sort of dwelle ...more
I read this book in one day. It really held my attention. I am the same age as Kris and could relate to her life. I know she is a controversial character, but I have respect for the life she has put together.

She has accomplished quite a lot with all the companies she has including several successful TV shows. She has a connection with her inner self and God that leads her in the right direction and I believe that is one of the reasons she is so successful.

The only caveat would be that it does s
The Kardashians are definitely my guilty pleasure. I thought this would be a little more juicy, but I enjoyed it for what it was. I didn't really know all of the circumstances of her divorce, and I also didn't realize just how close she was to the Nicole Brown Simpson murder. I knew that her ex was OJ's lawyer (ugh) but I didn't realize that her and Nicole were such close friends. That part of the book was so sad to read.

All in all, a quick way to pass a Saturday afternoon.
my saving grace really .. I actually really enjoyed this and it evoked some powerful emotions for me to see the depth of love , loss , tragedy , bewilderment and the starting of the brand that was the kardashians from the matriarch of the family . I especially felt it when their father died , which was heartwarming yet so sad . It portrayed the mother in a new light for me and I kinda understood certain choices she has made along the way ! all in all really enjoyed this one :)
I really enjoyed this book. It was interesting to learn about her background. Also very interesting what she had to say about OJ and Nicole Simpson. She hold nothing back as she talks about the mistakes she made in her life and in her first marriage, but, ironically, she mentions nothing about her daughter's sex tape.

I would be very interested to read her daughters' own autobiographies.

This book was very entertaining to me because it had so much to do with the OJ Simpson friendship and trial. I at times love the Kardashians and I sometimes hate them. This book opened my eyes to a hard working determined mom that figured out a way to make a lot of money for her family. I can't really hate her for that.

Let me tell you something: I do not like Kris Jenner.
I actually enjoy KUWTK but Kris Jenner? Never. That's why I was surprised that I actually liked this book. I've read a couple of biographies and there were some that were too self-righteous, so preachy and all, and so boring, but this was nothing like that.
Compared to that whole Kendall/Kylie novel mess (City of Indra), this was written beautifully, and I was pretty entertaining. I also liked the fact that she gave her two cents about The Tria

I need to start by saying I did not want to like this book. I was sooooooooo over it. Had no interest in the O.J. Nicole situation, and just had a bit of family overkill. But I was going on a long drive, needed a good audiobook and none of my fave authors had released anything recently. So I went for it. Worse that could happen was delete.

Ummmmmm.... This book was fantastic. Kris Jenner's life story is quite interesting. Very 'had nothing/ had it all/ lost it all/ learned my lessons/ gained it

Okay i gave this book 5 stars kill me.. whatever. This woman is a genius hands down, i couldn't get my mind off the book, her writing style is beautiful and very sincere, she's an amazing mother, business woman, and person, the details described in the book didn't only make it easier for the reader to feel like they're in the middle of the action but also shed light on the most personal and scandalous accidents and mistakes Kris did in her life, She's a role model even though she made big big mi ...more

The beginning and end of the book where she talks about how rich they are now - is annoying. The most interesting part is the middle where she writes about her close relationship with Nicole Brown Simpson and OJ Simpson and everything that went on with the murder/trial
