Story Prompt:
I’m not a huge fan of the fantasy genre, especially anything with angels is a no-no, but maybe you could change that? This boy is, obviously, an angel. He’s looking out from a window somewhere in heaven. He’s alone and miserable, because he did the unthinkable and gave in to the advances of another angel. The two angels fell in love with each other, and that was when things went wrong. His lover got punished; he was tossed out of heaven, because even though sometimes an angel can g...more

Free novella written for the M/M Romance group's "Hot Summer Days" event. I rarely give novellas 5 stars, but this novella had a pretty robust story. I really enjoyed it and at one point even felt a little emotional about the events.

Don't Read in the Closet is a collection of short stories published for free for members of the M/M Romance Group. The best part of this series of shorts is that they were based on a photo and a reader request for a story. Here is the photo and reader request that i...more

Michele, this is a beautiful story! I think your own words best describe the message underlying your story:-

You do not love yourself, therefore you cannot love another

Devon, with all his experience, truly needed to learn this, while Anson, even in his naivety, understood this from the beginning as he clearly accepted his faults and strengths without any drama. I felt Devon's pain when he finally realized the cost of his lesson, yet I loved that the same lesson, while causing Anson pain, also tau...more

The angel was one thing—amazing. Yeah, that describes Anson perfectly! I wanted to throttle Devon for being so dismissive about love and finding one's soul mate, but he managed to redeem himself. Such endearing characters and an intriguing world, I just loved everything about this story:) Awesomeness!!! Thank you for sharing this with us, Michele:D

I love stories with angels, and the thing I really liked about this one was that it was so original and different than the type of angels we usually have to read about. This was very sweet, unique, and just beautiful! I loved the world that was created where they were destined mates.

A beautiful story! I loved Anson - his joy and fearlessness in love is enviable. And poor Devon - I felt his doubt and fear in opening himself up to love. And in the end it was love that saved them both.

I loved the story and especially Anson, but I didn't like the Gagda&co setup. Even with the different names it still felt a bit religious and for me, that cost this story it's 5th star.

I read 13% of this one and just can't finish. Writing style annoys me and it seems like the characters are little kids and the writing is like extreme.

Random quote: “I’m so confused. I truly want to get unconfused so I can prepare for my date.”

“Anson, you are thinking out loud?”

"Anson shook his head a little too fast, for he wobbled a bit on his knees. “No, Sir. Just thinking,” he murmured distractedly."

Yeah I just can't get past the writing and have no idea what's even going on

I live my life believing. I believe that all of us can do anything we want to do. I believe that each goal we set for ourselves can be met if we strive to meet that goal, no matter what bumps we have to jump over to attain it.

I don't believe in fear I believe in the power of love.

Fear has the power to stop me, to control me and lead me to failure.
Love has the power to guide me over the most dif...more
