Beth hasn't had to much luck in the love department and come to think of it neither has Yuri. They both turn to a online dating website where they start chatting it up in hoping to have some luck thrown their way. Now this site is unique and matches up couples from different counties, which I thought was pretty cool. Finally after chatting online for months, Beth decides to invite Yuri to New York for a weekend where things start to become hot and heavy. But what will happen when Yuri's stay com

A really simple and short story. A girl meets a Russian guy on a dating website called "A Foreign Affair". They chat for over 6 months until she decided she wants to meet him in person. He travels to New York City and that's when the erotica comes in... I have to say, on the erotica scale, this was pretty tame. FYI - As of writing this review, the ebook is free on amazon if you have a prime account.

Decadent Dreams was an amazingly HOT!!!! read. I could totally relate to Beth and Yuri. I myself met my husband on-line and he was from a different country than me. I could completely understand how Beth and Yuri had such intense feelings for each other, in what appears to be, a short amount of time. Not only did I love the relationship between Beth and Yuri but I also loved Yuri's relationship to his best friend Nik. There is such loyalty and love between them, like you would see in any other b ...more

I have to be honest I don't read many contemporary books, not sure why other than I like to escape from reality and contemporary is too close to reality. And can I say my thoughts on that was so wrong. I am glad I was given the chance to read this book.

Where to begin with this review? Other than I loved it !! Okay I know I need to write more than that don't I ?

I will start with the characters. I absolutely loved Beth, she is a successful businesswoman looking for love and where did she find it o

My Thoughts: Beth was unlucky in the love department and way too busy with her bakery Decandent Dreams to look at possible relationship prospects, so she does the next best thing. She joins a dating site called " A Foreign Affair" where she meets Yuri. Beth and Yuri , who is from Belaruse, talk online and Beth decides to invite him to New York to meet.
I have to say, I didn't love this book but I did enjoy it a lot.Slow in the beginning but the paced picked up the further you got into it. I hav

Decedent Dreams left me a bit up in the air. It’s fairly short and so I think my main concern with this one was that everything felt incredibly rushed. For example, the novella opens with the backstory that Beth and Yuri have been talking online through a dating site for six months. For the characters, that works. For the reader it doesn’t. It left me with no connection to them. I wanted to believe their feelings but being thrown into the middle left me out in the cold.

Beth invites Yuri to New Y

Book 1 in a possible series about Foreign Affairs?

So this review is of an ARC provided, generously, by Langston for my review. This erotica, as most are, features a lot of sex. Just warning ya’ll, alright? With erotica there is a very delicate balance to be obtained. One can focus solely on the sex, which is fine. One can tone down on the sex and focus a bit more on the

I hate to say it but I really didn't like this book. I really tried to get into it but it was very difficult for me. I had a real problem with connecting to the characters and the story. It just seemed so far fetched to me. I just didn't really believe that the events of the book could really happen. Since I had such a problem with connecting to it I finally gave up and put the book down. Now that was a few weeks ago and I just haven't had th

Some of the things I really liked? I liked how contemporary Decadent Dreams was. Langston uses terminology and technology that is totally ‘in’ right now. She talks about romance in life this very minute. Internet dating, the freedom of two mutual, consenting adults in a hotel room doing whatever they want… it was all very real and current which I found I really liked.

Awkward. The dialogue was stilted and it wasn't due to Yuri's accent or English. The plot was a really sweet idea and both characters backgrounds were interesting, unfortunately there were several inconsistencies in Beth's character. Blushing one moment and pulling moves that a working girl knows the next was confusing and jarring. There were some proofreading errors and overall a bit of editing would make it a smoother read.

As a child, multi-published author Ty Langston loved to read about dragons and knights so much that one day, her grandmother told her to "just write about them."

So she did.

From that day forward, she never left home without her pen, a notebook, and some kind of music playing in the background. Her love of reading expanded from fantasy into science fiction, and eventually into paranormal romance a
