Con-fus-ing! I couldn't tell who was who in the beginning. It's free and only 10 pages and the ending was kinda sweet.
This story was okay but I felt it was too short. There was no depth to the characters - especially Rio. I would've liked to know more about him. Some short stories do a good job explaining the history between two characters, but this story kind of glossed over it.

Story Prompt:
Yes, I ignored your warnings, and I fucked up, big time. He told me he loved me, told me he wasn't ready to come out, yet. More the fool me. It wasn't as if *you* knew he was married, either. And for the record, I never said I didn't care about you. You said you didn't want a relationship with me. So, what changed?

I read a couple reviews say they were a bit confused and they wished they knew the characters more-well there is a prequel for this and it's also free:

For me it helped me understand the story a bit better-and a plus is that it's told from Rio's POV.
I read this as a wrap up to the prequel and it was a quick fun ending.

Such a great story!
My favourite line? This:
It is a bit of perfection!
My favourite line? This:
“Yes…” The word was a sigh, breathed into Rio’s mouth. The man’s breath hitched, drinking Tim’s answer in, sucking in his breath and, it felt like, his very soul.
It is a bit of perfection!
