Fantastic book! I don't understand why someone reviewed it as being slow! It was too fast for me! That's what frustrated me about this book is that it felt rushed in the beginning! I think it should've been longer and full of lots more details! The beginning was a little rough but once I got about 1/4 in, it flowed much better and really took hold of me. Thank you for the book I won through the Goodreads giveways. This is an exciting sword and sorcery story. Since this is book one, I assume there will be more. The story is simple - a tyrant is chasing a girl who is the rightful heir to the throne. The girl grows into a woman and learns about overthrowing an empire controlled by a church-state.
