Taming an Impossible Rogue (Scandalous Brides #2)
One year ago, Lady Camille Pryce left her haughty fiancé at the altar—for good reason. Not only was the marriage arranged before she could even walk, her betrothed was too smug to exert himself to meet her! Now, disowned, with no husband or family to support her, she’s left with one option: go to work in the notorious Tantalus Club…

Setting / Time / Genre: Regency, London
Length: 352 glorious pages of banter and sarcasm and wit
Sexy times: Three, I believe. All charming. Not terribly descriptive. The word "cock" is used frequently. And when I say charming, I mean charming: "A she bounced up and down on him enthusiastically, he lost the power of speech." and "May I touch you there?...Please do, not jabbing or yanking though." Charming.
Plan on reading more by the author: Oh hell yes.

Fans of both Lisa Kleypas and Julia Quinn should really take a look at Suzanne Enoch’s books. As a fan of both Kleypas and Quinn, it’s hard to find another author that grabs my attention as they do. However, upon picking up TAMING AN IMPOSIBLE ROGUE, I knew right away that Enoch would become an author I would be interested in reading more of.
The opening paragraph alone captured my attention and it was then that I realized that I was missing out big time.

I did this as a BR with Ally and boy did we have fun. There are countless one line zingers and hilarious situations in this book. We had a three chapter a night limit on the BR and we both had trouble sticking to it because this book was so funny it was hard to put down.

To see beyond Society's exploits within the strict rules that governed the Victorian era especially with the nobility!! Sooooo mad at her parents so uncaring & too disown based off of propriety structure their 'beloved' eldest daughter all because she has a spine and stood up against her parents and society's arranged marriage!!!!

While I thought the first book in the series was good, but not great, Taming an Impossible Rogue (Scandalous Brides #2) was fantastic!
Camille Pryce was thrown into a life of scandal when she fled the alter from an arranged marriage with an arrogant and cold fiance she'd never spoken with. Camille found her way to the Tantalus Club for employment after her parents kicked her out and her friends all turned their backs on her. The Ta ...more
