A little girl explores the outdoors on a summer day -- and night. From daisies, butterflies, bumblebees, picnics and ants to owls, frogs and fireflies.
I love the softness of the illustrations. The warm yellow light of summer. The dappled light of the woods.
And the small size of the book, and the roundness of the font -- all nicely designed and work together.

These would be great bedtime books. Like his others, the pictures are just as gentle and sweet with enough detail to keep kids interested.

Simple story about a girls summer day and night. The rhythm of the language is good but some of the images cross pages in an awkward way.

Sweet little book about a simple yet perfect summer day. Soft pretty illustrations and sweet poetry writing.
Soft, fuzzy, cozy illustrations; makes me wish summer wasn't so dadgum hot in San Antonio!
I liked the illustrations and overall concept but the rhymes didn't always scan.
Very cute book about what you can do in summertime. Small format for little hands.
Could be a pleasant choice for a Toddler Time with a summer theme.
