This is a short novel but it really packs a punch. Nate loses his mate to a horrendous creature/shifter called a Pithcus. Nate should have died as well since he was infected with it's poison, but somehow he beats the odds and survives. However he is now constantly fighting his own inner Pithcus who wants to take control. He has been paired up with Mitch to hunt and destroy the Pithcus and the hunt leads them to a cruise ship. When Nate comes across Tessa at the pool, he is only trying to be nice...more

I might not have been in the mood for this one. This book felt like it was trying to be an epic saga type of story, but it just felt overly dramatic.
I grabbed this off my library's new book shelf. Okay...I was a total coverwhore. But really...could you put this one back. Great job cover artists.

This book can only be defined as nail biting excitement! It kept me on edge from the moment I first opened it! The chemistry between the main characters was explosive and hot, I'm surprised I didn't set my Kindle on fire! :-)

A good story, action packed in some parts but dragged a bit in others to the point where I just wanted it to get on with it. Predictable storyline but some interesting characters. Then it just ended like the writer gave up that was disappointing, I needed an epilogue.
I gave it my best, but half-way thru I called it quits. I didn't like the way the book was written. Everything felt forced. The romantic angle between Nate and Tess, I didn't think there was any. There was no heat or passion between the two. I found them both to be quite boring. By the way, what's with all the big words that keep popping up every couple of pages? Here's one for you: SESQUIPEDALIAN.
