I really enjoyed this book but I felt that there just was not enough of Bliss woven into this story. I wanted more of the quirky people of bliss than what was offered. That being said, it was still a good story. A bit on the violent side but that does not bother me much. It also had a few LOL moments but not as many as previous book's in the series.

The love scenes were hot but again I wished more from a M/W/M book.

Suspenseful story, but I didn't think the relationship was as developed as I would have liked. We're told that they were great friends for over a year before she left. However, there wasn't enough dialogue between the three of them once they got back together for my tastes.

Seriously...Can Sophie Oak write a bad book? Is it possible?

Lost in Bliss is the latest tale from my all-time favorite town. We get the wonderful things we expect from a Sophie Oak book...humor, romance, crazy secondary characters, a lot of secrets revealed, and smoking hot men who are working through their issues to claim the woman they love.

Rafe and Cam are two FBI guys who have been looking for Laura for 5 years. She disappeared after she was tortured by a serial killer, and ran somewhere s...more

I'm in a reading slump. I'm trying to read 600 books this year and I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm in so many challenges that I can barely keep them straight. I don't like when reading is a chore. What do I do when I'm in a reading slump and I have reviews I don't want to write? I go straight to Ms. Sophie Oak. I can ALWAYS count on her to bring me out of my book blues. Lost in Bliss does not disappoint.

Yes, it's another menage were two men who are like night and day chase after a woman...more

Another great installment in the Bliss series. I seriously want to move to Bliss, Colorado. :-) Such a great group of people there. I can't even imagine what Laura lived through. I can imagine, after waking up along and then hearing Cam and Rafe arguing in her hospital room when she recovered consciousness that she might believe she has nothing left in DC and she'd take off. I'm so glad Cam and Rafe found her. Unfortunately, them finding her basically brought the serial killer to her door again....more

Dear Laura

I hate to tell you this, but one third of your menage is an effing asshole. Grab Cam and run far away from Rafe who is a) mean to you; b) more interested in his own pleasure; c) won't admit when he is wrong and d) is always blaming you for the stuff that goes bad in the relationship. I'm sure you can find another third if you really want, but I don't think you need it. Cam is a darling. Rafe is a dickhead. Run away from the dickhead!!!

This book didn't work for me simply because of the three MC's, Laura, Rafe and Cam. The main characters in any book are so important for me, I must feel a connection somewhere, somehow to enjoy it. Even if 1 or 2 out of the three, in a menage, are good I can deal with the third being painful or drippy. In this book I didn't gel with one of them. However, 3 stars because I love the other residents of Bliss, and Wolf Meyer was spectacular. If it were based on the 3 MC's alone I would have rated it...more

Laura Niles, aka Laura Rosen, thought she had buried her past and any connection to the nightmare she survived over five years ago. When the two men who both showered her in love and broke her heart come looking for her she quickly realizes she must face a passion that never went away as well as the monster that tried to end her life!

I should just be able to write, I LOVE SOPHIE OAK, and be done with this review. I don't care how similar a path her books follow, I read them, I get emotionally attached ,I love them.
Her characters are great. Bliss is great. Its the kooky little twin peaks town except sexier.

I truly loved the characters of this book. I felt for the heroine, the horrible things she endured, gah I can't even imagine. Her men, boyo were they ever wonderful. They loved her, they searched for her the found her and...more

OMG this book is a roller coaster ride. The plot is so well written you are certain how the bad guy is until almost the end. Ms. Oak must have watch a lot of Criminal Minds to get the whole FBI BAU done so well. The plot could have been for that show. All the angst and hurt and time wasted was so sad. I was glad that Rafe finally realized what was important and got with the program. It was nice to see Steph and Jen get married. I laughed at all the married guys giving Cam and Rafe advice on how...more

This is my favorite of this series so far! It's funny, and a very good story, with a nice set-up for future books. The quirky town of Biss is only getting more interesting. Congratulations, Sophie Oak! Please keep them coming!

This is a review of the series rather than the individual books. Other readers have done an excellent job of reviewing individual books. I'll just add a sentence or two about each book at the end of my review.

I was pleasantly surprised when I started this series. In fact, I enjoyed the Nights in Bliss series so much that I read the first six books back-to-back; something I rarely do because I typically become bored with a series if I do this. Oak did a great job of building the quirky, entertain...more

Though I was intrigued with Laura's history, her two men (Rafe and Cam) reminded me of Nate and Zane...a lot, thus the 4-star rating. There were some scenes I didn't like, but what really got me hooked was the mystery part. Another reason for the imperfect rating is I predicted the culprit early on. This story has just the right amount of drama, suspense, action, and of course the erotica. I wouldn't ramble on and on, but I love the developments with Holly and her two admirers and I'm really pra...more

Sophie Oak is one of those writers of erotic romance fiction that is the literary counterpart of a world series grand slam hitter. She just keeps on writing these stories that captivate the imagination and pull the reader into a world that is truly bizaare in many ways yet I still see Bliss as a iconic community full of "types" of people that populate the wider world. Yet in this strange community they all manage to live together. Is Sophie trying to tell us all something more here than just a l...more

Laura Niles took awhile to acclimate in Bliss, a woman from a past she ran from was quickly embraced by the town, but her own weariness about trusting others had her treading carefully. Five years later, Laura is a new women and although has had an occasional date she still pines for the two FBI agents who stole her heart.

Cameron Briggs and Rafe Kincaid have been searching for Laura, ever since she ran. They were not sure what they would find when they finally found her, but know she is the only...more

A review for The Romance Reviews.

I know you all are probably tired of hearing me tell you how good Sophie Oak's books are, right? Well TOO BAD, you're going to hear it again! (LOL) LOST IN BLISS, the fourth installment in the Nights in Bliss, Colorado Series, is an amazing book with the deep emotion, fantastic plot, snarky humor, and sizzling love scenes we've come to associate with Sophie Oak--all wrapped up in the best fictional town I've ever read about.

This story is about Laura Niles. She's...more

Sophie's done it again. She's created another fun Bliss book with great characters to add to her Bliss, Colorado world.

This book is about Laura, the former FBI agent who stood up to the feds at the town hall meeting in Two to Love. She's a strong woman who has been through something that would break many people, but luckily Laura found Bliss, and the town and people there saved her.

Rafe and Cam are her former loves who track her down and show up in Bliss to claim her. They are both alpha men, an...more

I love Sophie Oak's writing, but I seriously wished that this hadn't turned out to be another menage story. I loved how she changed things up in One to Keep, by respecting the characters enough not to make it another menage story. However I don't feel that she's doing the same here.
Rafe and Cameron's relationship and their decision to share a woman doesn't feel natural to me and it all seems set up to create another menage scenario, which is unfortunate in my opinion. I would much rather have se...more

Laura left her work and the two men she loved five years ago when FBI wouldn´t listen to her profiling and she was kidnapped by the serial killer. Now Cam finally has a lead on her whereabouts and gets Rafe to come with him. That the serial killer has been waiting for another chance was not something they could ever think. Fluffy smut, threesome, alpha males and wounded feelings that need some comfort. Love the town of Bliss =)

I have no clue how Sophie came up with Colorado, Bliss but I'm so glad she did. The books are hilarious, the characters are one-of-a-kind and their is always a bad guy. I would seriously start crying if she were to stop writing the Bliss books. I definitely recommend this book and suggest you start with the first book 'Three to Ride.' Can't wait for the rest of the Bliss residents love stories and shenanigins.

This 3rd book in the Colorado Bliss series is great a lot of action suspense. the serial killer is kept hidden till very end with a lot of possible characters being the murder. I love how each character is very individual in this series. No 2 character are alike even the harper twins. Great HEA. Can't wait for Caleb to come up with more then the word NO!

When you combine their humor with a suspenseful plot that entails danger and a few shocker moments, you get a book that’s hard to put down and Sophie Oak’s Lost in Bliss definitely fits the bill in this category for me.Read More...

Again I love the town of Bliss. Poor Laura her serial killer is back but so our her two true loves Cam and Rafe. This time no one will take her away from them.

While not my favorite couple going in, I still thoroughly enjoyed it and fell for the characters as their story progressed. Typical of the series, this book was full of great characters, suspense, stong sassy females, delicious alpha males, and a great story line. Sophie Oak continues to cement her status as one of my favorite authors. The more I read from her the more I want.

Cam and Rafe, Rafe and Cam... between the two of them is somewhere I certainly wouldn't mind being ;)

Another great menage book by Sophie Oak. Full of quirky characters with times of humor and banter. Also has a nice story with it and some hot sexing. I liked Rafe, Laura and Cam and their combo made sense. However, I loved Cam. After Sam, he might be my favorite Sophie Oak character. I enjoyed this M/F/M story about former lovers who reconnect. Although I always find the M/M/F stories more believable when it comes to menage, this one works for me. Although it could be read as a standalone, you'l...more

I love this series and really was happy to read Laura's story. Rafe and Cam are great anf they make a good threesome with Laura. There are some similarities I can see between Rafe and Cam and Nate and Zane but the 2 pairs are enough different that it doesn't seem like the same story. The story fleshed out Laura's background and brought some action to Bliss as they come head to head with a serial killer. Makes for interesting times in Bliss and a hell of a book. Another great Bliss read. 2 thumbs...more

A lifetime devotee to the written word, Sophie published her first novel this year. Prior to becoming a novelist, she worked in theater and comic books. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and three precocious children, who wonder when mom is going to write a book they will be allowed to read. Her answer: probably never. Sophie believes in happy endings for everyone, no matter how extr...more
