This is for sure one of my new favorite short stories. I love how two very, and I mean VERY, unlikely people accidentally fall in love. Sapphire is attending Jorde Michael's concert, he's a gay pop star (yes GAY) in an attempt to hopefully stop her uncle from raping her on her 18th birthday. Her uncle married her aunt for her money, and since she's in a wheelchair now he can't 'get some' and is wanting her die already. Unfortunately, he only gets have of the money if she dies as Sapphire gets th ...more

First of all, I was really shocked when I saw some of the reviews that this story has received. I found it online for a free download, and I thought I'd give it a go. I didn't look at any of the reviews, so I went into it completely blind knowing only that it was about a gay singer and a young woman. To be honest, I really enjoyed reading it.

The first scene piqued my interest nicely, pulling me into Jordie's world without effort. At first, he comes off as spoiled and a bit of an ass. The kind o

I thought that this was a stupidly ridiculous story. First off, if you're gay, you're gay. I understand bisexuality but the main character of the story was supposedly gay. A real gay man would not have gotten it up for a girl. A bisexual man yes, but not a gay one. I did give it two stars because at the end Jordie was really sweet to Sapphire (a ridiculous name by the way) and I liked that. But all in all the premise of this entire story was just stupid.
I do not know why I continue to keep reading erotica short stories. I hate every one of them. Without the time to do any character development, it just ends up reading like a really cheap porno story with zero romance. This one, unfortunately, is no exception. I'm very glad it was free and that it was a quick read. She was underage. She was a virgin. He is gay! And that reference to hemmies...well. That is GROSS.
Right. This was probably supposed to be romantic but ended up being anything but.

This story portrays sexually inexperienced girls as empty-headed ignorants, pop/rock stars as rapists and gay men as fools who can turn straight as soon as they touch the round breasts and taste the private parts of a nice virgin girl.

It made me wish there were negative star ratings on GR.

3.25 stars LOVED Jordie and Saphire's Story! I honestly didn't think I would like it this much, but it was not only HOT but very sweet as well!

It was good, but a virgin girl flipped a gay guy? A little hard to believe.

BEST NIGHT EVER is one of those books where the story starts one way, but ends in a completely different manner. Its central protagonist is Jordie Michaels, a sexually ambivalent, coarse, bad boy pop star. Sapphire is a young woman who enters, and wins, the local radio station's "Best Night Ever" song contest, where she is granted some of Jordie's private time in his trailer. Will the sensitive Sapphire be able to hold her own with the foul-mouthed, demanding Jordie, or, will he be taught some l ...more

OMG! The descriptions in this book are HILARIOUS.. Jordie's first time with a girl was freakin'

I will forever have that image embedded into my head. When Sapphire wins back stage passes with Jordie .. Little does he know his gay ass may get his some woman. This is the strangest story ever but, this author can WRITE. I think this book gives the meaning Turning a Gay man straight a new definition. I give the author tons of props for going there. I have to say that based on the boldness of the aut

The writing wasn't horrible (surprisingly) -- the only reason I didn't give it one star. The whole groupie/rock star premise sounded interesting when I read the blurb. It's really short!! The fact that the heroine is so young bothered me. I prefer my kink with adults. I felt dirty - and not in a good way, reading about this barely legal innocent and hero's explicit sex scene. And I just couldn't believe the premise that this grown man who preferred to sex men was "changed" by this innocent group ...more

I sort of liked the story but it was lacking for me. I would give it 2 1/2 stars if I could. I wasn't a fan of how Jordie acted towards Sapphire, forcing himself on her. I also wasn't a fan of how Sapphire acted, she was there to relieve herself of a scary situation in the future by subjecting herself to it from a pompous gay singer in the present. I felt like the author could have done an awesome job if the story had more to it. Maybe Sapphire's life at home before she goes to the concert, the ...more

This was not bad for a short story. Read in all one sitting so it kept me interested for the most part.

I wish we could rate negative stars.

This book wasn't worth what I paid, and it was a freebie for the Kindle. It's badly written. No, it's terribly written. The story is bad, too. From what I gather, virginal young girl is going to "turn" a rapist gay guy. Story was bad enough (virgin sweetness turning teh gayz), but the over rapeyness of it all made it completely unreadable. If the guy in the story wasn't buggering young boys, he was anally raping women or forcing his penis down a virginal throa

This was an entertaining read. Not believable with the virgin turning the hard-core gay guy into a tender lover or the virgin orgasms, but it’s a fantasy. I would have liked there to have been more. This could have been a great story had we more back story and if we could find out what happened later. This is a freebie and gives us a sense of the authors writing style, so it served its purpose. I will look into Keara Kevay a little more now.
Thanks for the freebie!

A good example why teens should not have sex.

A gay rocker meets clueless fan. He proceeds to treat her like a whore. (The girl needs to get some Self-esteem.) Some cherry popping later and suddenly he's not gay anymore. It must be love.

The only thought I had while was reading this was... tell me ppl aren't this dumb... unfortunately they are out there... and they're breeding.

Not my type of book but will read other things by the author.

First I'll start with saying if the story had more to it and if it had an ending I would have rated more..... it just sort of stopped.... I give it a 2.5

It's a story about a 17 almost 18 year old who due to the threat of physical harm entered a competition to meet a gay pop star...... hoping he'll help her in an unusual way...... it wasn't bad.... but as I said it didn't really end

Don't know if I'd recommend but.....

Hope you ENJOY :D if you read it

Solid 2.5 stars...not much but a little dark also...need some more background to feel the intimacy. Wish this was full length and not so vague but it is a short story but I do suggest it be turned into a full length story with character development surrounding both characters and they would be more likeable. Going to read second since it's real short and it left a cliffhanger and I just want to see if both of them have 'saved' each other.
Best Night Ever by Keara Kevay

Raw is the word that came to mind while reading this 1 chapter story. I wanted to have a ‘come to Jesus’ talk with Jordie the asshat, “no interest in pleasing women” indeed… I pushed past the raw and rough way that Jordie treated Sapphire in their initial meeting and I’m glad it did because redemption was around the corner. Now on to Best Night Ever II-Never Again.

This book just goes to show you that sexuality can be fluid.

But, I have to say that I was turned off by the hemorrhoid referrals in regards to the anal sex (which is a huge turn-off for me in general).

Hemorrhoids/anal fissures, etc are just not sexy.

This is just my opinion.
Rebecca A. Rogers
This would've been ten times better if the author stretched out the plot and delved deeper into the tortured pasts of both main characters. I think that would've touched some part of the readers' hearts. For me, though, it was a little too quick to garner any real emotion.

Mediocre story but I got a very strong sense of who the characters were, what they were like. I did not like Jordie throughout the story but he had his moments. Sapphire was sweet and scared and trying to navigate a life that was more nightmare for her. I rooted for her.

I liked the story. I just wish it was a bit more complete. Even with part 2, I would have like a full length story to develop Saphire as a real character. Really dramatic, entertaining story. Part 1 free on Kindle; part 2 , cheap read on Kindle.

i honestly thought this would have been better then it was. the storyline was not really there and it was too short to get really interested in the characters. the scene went to quickly for my taste. i needed more.

I wasn't crazy about this short story. I think it lacked a lot of things. I might review this I might not but at this point I am just glad that it's over.
