Cracks Exposed Upon Reflection
Ryann Phillips doesn't dream. Not like other people do, anyway. For as long as she can remember, her nights have been a doorway to her psychic visions. Some of the things she sees are mundane, some are heartbreaking. Most she can do absolutely nothing about. She's an architect, after all, not a god. This was a very Mills and Boon Intrigue type read.

This short, romantic suspense was enjoyable. I liked the suspense storyline and was surprised by the resolution. I also liked the heroine, and the chemistry between she and the hero. I didn't like some of the actions of the hero in a few scenes, but when I overlook those, I enjoyed the rest of the book. I received this ARC through Netgalley.

Fun read. Strong main characters with good chemistry and real personality. Very much enjoyed the strong morality subtext and the tensions resulting. Supporting characters were three dimensional and I wouldn't have minded seeing more of them. Loved the epilogue, it's nice having a glimpse into the HEA. TechGuy rating: Two mice up

I love romantic suspense. This one is really well done. I NEVER would have guessed the resolution, but no way would I spoil that. Beginning was a bit confusing, but after I read it once, I went back through, and I understand the beginning a lot better.

The book is a solid paranormal romance (fits in quite nicely with category romance). The heroine and hero were quite enjoyable. The supporting and minor characters were well executed. If you are looking for a nice light thrill ride, then pick up this book.

I do have to say that the book's non-erotic plot was pretty cool. I am not really into this kind of fiction. I'm not that kind of reader ("Me not that kind of Orc" circa World of Warcraft playing days...). But AC has a way with words... :)
