Architect Ryann Phillips lives a normal life--except for her psychic dreams. Few of her premonitions make sense, or even cause her to lose sleep, until she dreams about a vicious murder and is compelled to warn the would-be victim.

Attorney Trevor Kearney doesn't believe it when Ryann claims his client's ex wants her dead. Nevertheless, he's intrigued by her ability to hold

Blah. This was a complete waste of time. I'm not usually super harsh on books but this on in particular just made me angry.

We start off with our heroine who has precognition. She dreams nightly of future events; some visions are banal everyday life occurrences and others are life and death. In this particular vision she sees a blonde woman struggle with an unknown man, only to be shot. Our heroine is shaken and hopes to find the woman in order to warn her. This is around the time things started

Cracks Exposed Upon Reflection

Ryann Phillips doesn't dream. Not like other people do, anyway. For as long as she can remember, her nights have been a doorway to her psychic visions. Some of the things she sees are mundane, some are heartbreaking. Most she can do absolutely nothing about. She's an architect, after all, not a god. Still, she has used her abilities for good and she does help when she can.

Unfortunately, she doesn't know how to find, let alone help, the woman she'd see

Having premonitions isn’t something Ryann tells just anyone. When she has one that involves a murder though she sets out to track the woman down and try to save her life. When she finally tracks her down she also meets her associate, Trevor, who sends all kinds of delicious shivers through Ryanns body. Trevor doesn’t believe Ryann for one second that she can actually have visions, but he agrees to help her keep his associate, Victoria safe from harm. In doing so he also has to keep tabs on Ryann ...more

This was a very Mills and Boon Intrigue type read.

In this book we meet Ryann who has visions (dreams) about people and whats going on. Normally its just normal daily stuff but one night she dreams about a murder. She sets out to find the woman and warn her and upon finding her meets Trevor. In comes hot lawyer Trevor, one look at each other and its instant lust. He doesn't believe her but he wants her and decides to help her keep the woman from her vision safe. In doing this, they start to fall

Another fabulous book by Alanna Coca. I really enjoyed this book. This one takes on an adventure with Ashley’s friend (With a View) Ryann. Ryann has physic dreams that she knows will take in real time at some point in time. She has a dream that is more a nightmare because it involves murder. Her dream world collides with her real world when she finds the woman who is murdered in her dream. She also finds the hot and steamy Trevor. Trevor is an attorney that is handling the divorce of the woman i ...more

Ryann has the ability to see things before they happen, for her, it happens in the very last dream before she awakes. She can go through her visions as many times as she wants, she even has the ability to slow them down to single frames. Not all of visions are horrific though. She hasn’t had a chance of as yet to stop the murder; she knows the odds are against it. Though sheer luck she sees the very woman that graced Ryann’s vision last night. Her name is Victoria; she is slated to die in an off ...more

This short, romantic suspense was enjoyable. I liked the suspense storyline and was surprised by the resolution. I also liked the heroine, and the chemistry between she and the hero. I didn't like some of the actions of the hero in a few scenes, but when I overlook those, I enjoyed the rest of the book. I received this ARC through Netgalley.

Fun read. Strong main characters with good chemistry and real personality. Very much enjoyed the strong morality subtext and the tensions resulting. Supporting characters were three dimensional and I wouldn't have minded seeing more of them. Loved the epilogue, it's nice having a glimpse into the HEA. TechGuy rating: Two mice up

I love romantic suspense. This one is really well done. I NEVER would have guessed the resolution, but no way would I spoil that. Beginning was a bit confusing, but after I read it once, I went back through, and I understand the beginning a lot better.

I do have to say that the book's non-erotic plot was pretty cool. I am not really into this kind of fiction. I'm not that kind of reader ("Me not that kind of Orc" circa World of Warcraft playing days...). But AC has a way with words... :)
