I want this to come out faster.
But at the same time I want to savor every moment of this series. I don't want it to end. I don't want to say good bye to all my favorite characters. I just...don't.
I think I'm looking forward to this one even more than the House of Hades, actually. The Final Book is nearly always my favorite one...because while the author must take risks, if s/he is able overcome that...the result can be spectacular.

Oh my gods I cannot wait for this book! It's is finale to an amazing series; the final show down where The Heroes of Olympus, our heroes: Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Piper, Jason, Hazel and Frank, finally show the giants whose boss.
I know I'm coming across as conceited by saying that they will win, but:
1. This book is pitched for tweens - how can there not be a happily ever after?
2. My brain which is slightly irrational when it comes to anything Riordan related refuses to accept the possibility...more

Hello, I'm alive again. My friend and I were brainstorming ideas for the end of this seiries and we came up with a lot...here's two of them.
Optimistic theory:
Gaia is defeated, no-one dies, end pairings are Percy/Annabeth, Leo/Hazel, Reyna/Frank (c'mon, it could happen!), Jason/abandons Piper and gets rejected by Reyna and is forever alone, and Piper/goes into Hunters of Artemis. Everyone lives happily ev...more

I know this may sound weird and all, but once upon a time, there was a girl (me!). she was bored, and had NOTHING to do. like, NADA. so she went on Google, and googled "The Mark of Athena". one of the results went to Wikipedia (like always). she clicked on the link, and read the article. and then something caught her eyes. there was the title for the 4th AND 5th book!!! the fourth book's title was "The Battle of Time." but then she read TMOA and found out the 4th book's title: the House of Hades...more

I have an awful feeling. I'm gonna hate the ending of HoH, and I'll be freaking out more than I am about the ending of MoA (I wonder how i will achieve that... PERCABETH FELL INTO FREAKING TARTARUS! I doubt i could get more upset than I am about THAT!)Unfortunately, RR is a cruel trolly author and loves to torture obsessive 12 year old girls. If I end up in an asylum because of him, my parents are suing.
Ggrrrr... Okay, so the 4th book is apparently named The House of Hades, it makes sense too, but what about this 5th addition? According to my thoughts, Annabeth and Percy should just reunite with the others at the end of The House of Hades.( Makes it a killer cliffhanger) Then, what? Well the prophecy says that they need to close the Doors of Death. So I reckon this book is gonna be called The Doors of Death.

I'm TOO exciting for the last two. This an absolutely terrifically magically perfectly written series.
But I really don't know what I'll do with my life once I've read them. Just thinking about a life without Percy Jackson in new books is a extremely depressing concept. Damn.
Well, at least we get to savor the books for a whole year each and relive every Percabeth moment.

Asdfghjkl sufficating right now, tears comming on. Any one else just realised only a year and a half and this series is done. Finished. No more chb or percabeth. Asdfghjkl feels! Going to go cry in a corner now...
I've read currently 11 (I think) in the Percy Jackson series and the Heroes of the Olympus series, I can't wait until this comes out.
