I won't lie, this book was the book that I was the most excited about in this series. This was the book that all the seven demigods were finally going to meet each other for the first time, and start their quest. AND of course, the Percabeth reunion (whooooooooooooooooooooo)!!!!!!

Let's start this review in the most eloquently put way I can: I have no idea how to write this review.

When I finished this book a while ago, I would log onto Goodreads every single day and every single day, I would look at my pre-review and think, how can I write this review? What should I include, what should I put emphasis on? I would simply just stare at my laptop's screen until my mom called me down for dinner.

secondly... I like Piper, but I'm pretty sure her fatal flaw(s) are indecisiveness and self-discovery struggles, which makes her (I admit) annoying. Either way, I'm hoping for a Reyna/Jason hookup, but we may very well have a Piper/Jason/Reyna triangle (this is a nice chanege, because in most YA triangles there is only one girl)

moving on, I like Hazel/Frank, but Leo is cool to More...

Those were my two reactions when my sister told me the book was about to come out. I can't wait for this book!!!!! (you probably already figured that out by the pictures. he he.) The cover on the book seems so... dramatic. It looks like Percy and Jason are about to fight. Guess I'll just have to wait. Wow, the more I think about it, it is really hard to wait. (sigh)

I know I should have written this review the day I finished the book but when I finished the book, I was a mess. But I had to review it so here I am.

So, the actual review is kind of short:

I can't tell you how much I loved the book, it cannot be expressed in words. I specially loved the parts that were narrated from Annabeth's POV. RR did the right thing by saving Nico because some of the fans might have been a little more than angry if he had died. Oh! I forgot to mention More...

After I bought SoN from the love of my life, Barnes and Noble, I went out with my mom to some charity place to drop some stuff off. I did, in my defense, get out of the car and attempt to help her. However, I did it all with a 513-page brand-new hardcover book attached to my chest with one arm.

Why? Because I opened the cover in the car, and on the first page, I saw the five-letter word I had sorely missed in TLH:

P-E-R-C-Y.

Can someone just put me in a chemically induced coma until october 2012? I mean seriously.....Rick Riordan why oh why are you the king of cliff hangers!!!! I seriously am LIVING for this book to come out....blah....These books are just so good that I want to rip my hair out. I CAN'T do this for another year!!! But I have too...for Percy's Sake....Yes, I am in love with the fictional demigod son of Poseidon, not Neptune! Don't judge me!!! Oh but I love him.....until October 2012 then!

When I was reading The Mark of Athena , I was also battling a mild fever. My fever was accompanied by some very interesting (or deranged, as some muggles would like to call it) hallucinations. For three consecutive nights, I dreamt that I was standing at the helm of a bronze Trireme which had a flaming dragon for a masthead. And every single time, I had hooves. AND, I kept up a constant war cry of “DIE, GUACAMOLE BREATH, DIE!!!”

1. Hazel and Leo uurealize they were meant for each other and Leo gets P.O.ed at Frank and burns the stupid stick.

2. Jason gets bored of Piper and goes to Reyna who he should be with.

3. The Roman people don't agree with Percy and Reyna and they attack the Argo 2 and start a full scale war with Percy as a Greek More...

I figured/made a theory for why the Roman Camp (Camp Jupiter) would not like the Goddess Minerva (Athena to Camp Half-Blood). I was studying for my Latin test last weekend. One of the stories I studied was the legend of Aeneas. Aeneas was from Troy during Trojan War between the Greeks and Trojans.
The Greeks defeated the Trojans through Ulysses/Odysseus's ingenio More...

Does anyone else think that Leo is going to totally fall in love with Reyna?
