Dane is a very short read about the prodigal MacKenzie brother returning to the small town of Surrender, Montana. He reunites with his long lost love, discovers he has a son and voila.... a HEA. The writing is pretty decent and if you go in knowing that you are going to get a short story, you will likely enjoy this read.

Bought on Kindle; short and sexy. That's about all I can say about this one. He rode into town, straight into the arms of the girl he left behind 10 years ago. They do the deed on top of her desk, and she leaves. Later he finds out she has kept a BIG secret from him, he finds her again the same night, confronts her with the secret, she confesses, and this time they find a bed. The declare their love for one another. The End.

This story was good, had some unrealistic and unbelievable reactions by Charlotte, a woman left broken, alone and pregnant, to the irresponsible and egocentric father of her child, Dane. The plot was good and had a lot of potential, but what should have been more detailed and given the characters more time for a healing and forgiving process, was rushed and left too many questions unanswered. I really don't know how to rate this book. I'd say a 3.5? It's very sexy. And I didn't know for sure if I was rating a romance or an erotica. If I was rating an erotica 5 stars... if a romance, 3... So I'm giving a 3.5.

Dammit, i need to do better research before starting new books...this is a novella. An erotic one. That means the H and h jump into the sack waaaay to fast and there's hardly any story...seriously, to some extent I wonder why they even other with a plot synopsis in books like these? While this author does a great job of tying up the story at the end, maybe only 10 % ( if that) of the story is actual...well, story.

A place where he experienced some of the greatest highs and lows in his life… where nothing ever changes and life moves at a slow pace… where his mother passed away and the love of his life was left behind. I really enjoyed this short book!! It felt good lots of back story to their relationship so it didn't feel rushed or a just right in to bed. Can't wait to read the next one.
What a yawn but I'm a sucker for a good cover and uploaded and read this before I checked the reviews and how many times have I promised myself never to read anything without checking the darn reviews first and I see now reviews are mixed. Never again.

Gotta love these short stories. Especially when they can get you inside & give you the history of the characters & make you care for them. Dane is 1 of 4 brothers that grew up in a small town.
They had a great child hood & got up to mischief like all boys do. Dane had problems coping when his mother passed away just after he graduated college. Even though he had a grilfriend he truly loved with his whole heart. He just felt the town was swallowing him, so he up & left.

If you're considering buying "Dane" for some down and dirty sex, you probably won't be disappointed. It was hot, no doubt, but it lacked just the little bit of sensuality I like along with the sex. So it wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but as evidenced by other reviews, it will certainly appeal to other readers.

Okay when I saw that this short story was free on amazon I took the opportunity to get it, and I guess I wasn't as thrilled to read it since most free short stories are wayyyy too short.
The way she opened her story was okay. It introduced a story and the problem and then BAM here comes the sex scene. The way she rolled in the sex scene wasn't believable to me. But hey its fantasy. This book was free on the Kindle Market and decided to give it a read because - short, smutty book... why not, right? It was really kind of quick, which was to be expected for a short book.
Of course it also used dirty talk, which is a huge turn off for me personally when it came to the smutty scenes. It had an okay plot that kind of, but just barely got resolved in the end.

Short story. 24 pages.
10 years ago Dane left Charlotte to start a life without her, the only problem is she was pregnant. Now he wants back in her life and to get to know the son he didn't know he had. A little too sugary sweet for me and things speed along super fast. But then it is a short story so the author has to jam in a lot. Maybe if the story were longer, I would have liked it more.

I loved this whole series by Liliana Hart. I'm definitely a new fan. I'm confused about the other reviewers who have complained about it being too short and too much sex. It says in the product description that it's a novella and it's listed in the erotica category.

It was like a trailer for something longer and better. I think the story has potential but since the format is so short all the important parts are left out. And I do find it a bit strange that the Heroine doesn´t have sex for ten (10!) years, pining for the Hero. I get it that in the first years after having a baby you are kind of busy, but come on, ten years?!

I really liked this, yet is it a very short story, if it were longer (a full length novel) I am sure it would be a best seller.
Without giving too much away the story discussed the past (10 years ago) between a young couple, they become involved and she becomes pregnant, but he doesn't know, he leaves for many reasons - no least to pursue his career but returns 10 years later. What he didn't know is not only did he leave Charlie, but hid kid. 10 years of not getting over each other boils over when Dane walks into Charlie's Auto Shop. Holy sexy reunion.
