This book is imaginative and thorough in detail. I can easily envision the world Julee Page has created for her heroine, Eliana.
Without giving away any detail about the story, I will say that the novel is written cleanly and without smut. I appreciate a good, gripping, clean read. There is romance, heartbreak, love, loss, and ultimate triumph. I'm impatiently awaiting the next installment in the series!

This is a fun read. One of my friends is actually the author (which I had NO idea she was a writer!) so it was fun to read her story. It's a good story left wide open for a sequel. My only complaint is I wanted more details! Elaina has this amazing adventure and I wanted to read more about it before it was through. I think a book is good if it's left you wanting more. I guess I'll have to find out in the next one....
