Although this book hints at Wicca, it is really geared towards the lifting of young women's self-esteem. By describing various goddesses around the world, the young lady is taught to emulate that goddess and have a positive outlook on life. I really needed this book about 10 years before it was published!

Hmm...well I will say that I have thumbed through this...and it looks as though that there may be some good info amidst all of what I consider to be crap...this is obviously not for the more serious teens who are looking for guidance regarding their spirituality...I can say that I will not be giving this one to my daughter, which is who I originally got it for...but when reading about one's spiritual journey, what make-up is being worn should not be an issue...granted, I think that books geared...more
