I’ve only read a few of Michele Hauf’s books, but I am fast becoming a fan. Her stories make me laugh and squee, sometimes all at once! I especially enjoy her witty characters and world building. Even though this is only a novella, Hauf still manages to skillfully get in enough world building information to make it feel real and satisfying.

I did really like this novella. I liked the play between the two characters and the eventual happiness they found. It was easy to understand why these two hit it off in the beginning of this story because of the attraction that is very evident.
The only bad thing I found was the story shifted POV at certain times and it was hard to follow. I did get used to it, but at first, it confused me a bit. Other than that, it was a really awesome read.

I liked it but it needed a better ending. It was a happy ever after I guess. but I felt like I had been dropped off the end of a cliff. lol

Loved it as I do all her stories!
