Let me start I really like the adventure romance story that Suzie Grant writes, I mean she really knows how to captive a reader. With that said let me get on with my review.

We start our journey somewhere in Caribbean Sea in 1689. Of course we would start there after all it is a pirate story. We meet Captin De'haviland's daughter (the pirate), Angel De'haviland, who is head over heels in love with her dad's friend. Yeah, we know this is going to go over well dad. Dad's friend is none other than...more

Nothing I like better than a pirate romance with the female being the lead character in the story. But when you have both Hero/Heroine as pirates why..even better! In Suzie Grant's book you have two hot-headed,stubborn,chemistry sizzling characters trying to out due one another and they just fly off the pages and lead each other a merry chase!English privateer Blac Barclay has a tough choice to make, his need for revenge against a British Lieutenant that ruined his family,or keeping his promise to...more

Much better quality than I expect from independently published writers. Good story, likable characters, and a nice variation on the usual pirate romance.

This was a really fun historical romance that was both steamy and unpredictable. You got a woman pirate who wants to get her father out of a British prison…and if that means stealing the ship of the privateer she’s been lusting after since she was 12 years old, then that’s what she’s gonna do.

His name is Blac and because he’s 12 years older than her and friends with her father, he’s afraid to allow his and Angel’s romance to flourish. Blac also has some funny, preconceived notions about women......more
