I really thought at the beginning that this had the potential for a 4 star book, but it fell short. Felicity appears to be handling her widowhood well : she’s paid off her husband’s debt, found a job, a home, and a supportive man. But once she finds out Morgan is alive, she becomes immature and very “me” focused, and it really grated. How she treats him in their first encounters was pretty awful, and made Morgan more of a sympathetic character. She really treats him and Graham poorly, and is mor ...more
i actually wanted 2 read a book wid a baby involved n i was very disappointed. y put a misleading title, synopsis n cover as well !? the book was actually abt morgan's return from the dead after 4years. felicity had moved on n was now engaged 2 reverend graham. the latter was a fat n dull man so dat u can assume felicity fell 4 him in a moment of great pain n grief. at the start, he's a very caring n attentive man, very likable. so i cud not believe the drastic change in his personality whereby ...more
This novel knocked me off of my feet. It was so beautifully written and angst ridden. I enjoyed it immensely and wished it would happen in the real world.
