Warning: spoilers if you haven't read the first 2 books!

Okay, to all you who understand and share my intense love for this series, let me explain the rating. Because I do still love these books, and I did really enjoy this one, but after considering it, I just couldn't give it 5 stars.

First, a positive: the adventure in this book is wonderful! I feel like this is the first time that it was so good that it eclipsed the romance(s) and relationships of the characters. I was fascinated by the journe...more

It hurts my heart to write this review, but it must be done. Tiger's Curse and Tiger's Quest were amazing. TIGER'S VOYAGE ruined everything, and I want to know why.

I used to be obsessed with this series. It was my first paranormal romance young-adult, and I credit this book for introducing me to the genre. Gradually, as I read more books, I learned the series wasn't as good as I originally though, but I still liked it.

However,...more

Tiger’s Voyage captured my heart, ensnared my soul, and left me breathless and so so in love. I love this book, this series, with a passionate, heart soaring, brilliant love that consumes me, and I become so invested in the story and Kelsey and Ren and Kishan’s lives that their pain is my pain, their love my love, and I dread the end, because it means I must finish this part of their story, and wait, and wait, for the next part. And Colleen Houck doesn’t give you a happy, perfect ending to stay...more

Tiger's Voyage, the third book in the Tiger's Curse series, is amazing! I couldn't put it down! It's about 100 pages longer than Tiger's Quest and I tore through it twice as fast.

We follow Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan who embark on their third voyage to break the Tiger's Curse. This time they travel by ocean searching for Durga's necklace. But, Ren is still suffering from his amnesia while Kishan seems to be falling more in love with Kelsey. Their voyage requires the help of five enchanting Chinese...more

I kid. XD

First opinion after finish reading:

Zero star for bastardizing Hindu and Chinese myths, taking mythical figures out of context, giving them entirely unrealistic backstories and twisting them into some unrecognizable creatures. Negative star for giving untrue and unreliable information about foreign myth and culture to the audience.

The silly, *unbearable* love triangle and the childish, airhead 'heroine' also got a big thumb down from me. I'm equally not amused by the fact that almost every single...more

As promised, here's a review. :) I read this around the middle of last month, October. So forgive me if my memory is a little weak lol.

There are spoilers ahead!

Let me begin by saying this book is the best out of the three books in the Tiger Saga so far. I've been a hardcore fan since the first book came out, and it just keeps getting better and better. ;) I could picture each detail as if it were right in front of me. It was that vivid. I could picture the scenery perfectly, especially when th...more

OMG!!! When I stop crying I'll try to make a proper review. It was really really good. I can't say enough about how much I love these books. The Tiger's Curse series has captured my heart never to let go.

It's been about a month now and I thought I should write a little more about what I think. By far of all the Tiger's Curse books this one has the most adventure, the most sadness, most love between the character, pretty much the most of everything. Colleen Houck, the author, definitely brought t...more

Tiger's Voyage is one of those books that I just wanted to toss across the room. I don't know if my reading tastes have changed in the last year since I read Tiger's Quest or if Colleen Houck's writing style changed but I just did not like it. First off, there are several things that made me say REALLY?
Really Seth and Amy

-Before even delving into other issues, I must address the length of this book. Over 500 pages? Really Mrs. Houck, really? Was there an editor? I'm sorry but unless it is used to further the plot...more

My rating is generous: this book was a mess that should have been at least 100 pages less than it was.

Colleen starts Tiger's Voyage from Lokesh's penthouse office. I thought it was brilliant to know what rage and disappointment our antagonist was feeling. After reading the prologue, I immediately knew what an incredible journey I am about to embark.

Tiger’s Voyage continues just over a month after Ren’s rescue from Baiga camp. As Kelsey deals with Ren’s memory loss, Colleen works slowly and carefully through her emotions. Every page was an absolute pleasure to read. I can assure you, Colleen is...more

I wanted to absorb all that I read for a few days before reviewing this book. So here it is my official review.

I loved it. I loved the action packed adventures. The way Colleen describes the details makes it so easy to "see" the kraken and the dragons. The emotional writing makes me love, hate and envy the characters-- which is why it took me a week before I could write this review. I know Colleen won't lead me astray, and I now long to know the next chapter in the story. I don't want to post an...more

Colleen Houck has yet again created a story with a thrilling and incredibly scary plotline. She used an incredible amount of imagination to create the challenges the characters faced in Tiger’s Voyage. Her writing is so imaginative, every single sentence created vivid pictures in my head so I felt like I was by the characters’ side the entire time. I love the mythology the author used to enrich the story, creating a wonderful background for the prophecy. But there were a lot of stories and it be...more

Why do I feel like bashing my head against the wall? The story was going great in the first two books...I even dreamed about the characters. I couldn't stop thinking about them because they were that catchy...and OMG! REN!

And in this book you killed it. The main character was stuck in a paradox so many freaking times, I wanted to jump in the book, pull her by her hair and throw her to the moon, then RUN to REN and make him mine forever.

Colleen, why the ending? The book went so freakin slow...twe...more

Over all I liked it pretty well. I didn't like how Kelsey just used Kishan to be her boyfriend when Ren rejected her. She was tryng to love him when she couldn't. Ugh!! Kelsey was just in an emotional turmoil. It's not my favorite. Kelsey was also just a damsel in distress for like, the whole book. That really got old Colleen. I hope that the next book is better.
I am soooooooo happy that Ren regained his memory! Yay! But why does he just expect Kelsey to drop Kishan and come back to him? This...more

This book was emotionally exhausting! Just like the first two. The ending didnt make me cry though, which is a first. The first ended with (view spoiler)[Kelsey refusing Ren and returning to Oregon, which was a very moving scene (hide spoiler)]. Then the second ended with (view spoiler)[Ren losing his memory and Kelsey overhears him telling Kishan that he doesnt love her anymore. That was heart wrenching and I cried more at the ending of the second (hide spoiler)]. But the third ended with (view...more

Oh my gosh! I love this book! I can barely speak. You may be wondering why it took me a month to read it, so here's the deal. This one little issue was the one thing that kept me from giving this book a five star rating. In my review of Tiger's Quest, I remember saying that Kelsey wasn't nearly as annoying as she was in tiger's curse. In this book however, she brought back her annoying side. She was so vexing! I literally would have thrown this book at the wall on many occasions if it was hardco...more

Kelsey's situation seems to get worse in every book. I preferred the first two books in the series mostly because only one brother was present in most of the book. Kishan seemed to become a completely different character after Kelsey's choice. While he is dependable and sweet, Kelsey obviously loves Ren, not Kishan. I hated her choices in the book and how she constantly found it necessary to push one brother away and then cry over him. The actual voyage was quite interesting, the dragons other p...more

Oh Colleen...it was going so so well in the beginning of this book until Kelsey returned to being an indecisive child about her relationship with Ren. Why is she such a coward?! I had to roll my eyes everytime I read how she went against her true feelings. I was so proud of her in the beginning and thought how she'd finally grown up in the third book but no, she's still the same little girl making only safe choices while stringing the two tigers along. Overall, this is still a great book (3 star...more

I can't really rate the book till I've read it. But fromt the exerpt I read in the ending of Tiger's Quest: OMG!!!!!! I feel sooo bad for Kells! She most probably will end up with Ren because he is soulmate and they have a connection. However, I feel so bad for Kishan. Just when he thinks he will no longer be alone and have his pyar (love) Ren shows up and reclaims her! I really hope Kishan finds true love like Ren and Kells. Another thing I liked from the exerpt was the possesiveness in Ren's v...more

My heart broke at the end of Quest, but Kells is right it isn't the end between Ren and her. The sneak peek made me scream when it not only confirmed it but also showed that Kells loves Kishan too. What's a girl to do!?! I can't wait for Voyage, the drama will unfold. I couldn't help but love both brothers. You won't be able not to feel connection that she does. This series has far surpassed what I expected when I started too read Tigers Curse. Thank you Colleen for giving me a quality series to...more

Omg I can't put into words how excited I am and it's obvious from one of Colleens quotes that he doesn't have amnesia for long. One thing that makes it different from other books is that you don't know if she's going to be with kishan or ren and there's no like that other guys a jerk I know you're the one for me cause they're both perfect except for him liking poetry ugh *eye roll* except for that which I think is the only flaw and that's definitely based on personal preference:):)x100 I <3 t...more

I was fortunate to receive an advance reading copy of this novel. Here is my review below which contains some very minor spoilers. Please check out my blog (http://libraryladyhylary.blogspot.com) for more reviews!:

After Ren’s memory loss following his rescue in Tiger’s Quest, Kelsey must work to make the prince fall in love with her all over again if she is going to keep her growing feelings for his brother, Kishan, at bay. Matters are complicated when Mr. Kadam unravels the next portion of thei...more

Alright, guys. This is the last of the Houck books I'll be reviewing for a while now. Honestly, I've never felt like this before where I really enjoyed the books, but the reviews are the same with the same problems and the reviewing task of my job just become arduous. I've contemplated reviewing Tiger's Quest and Voyage or not because THEY ARE THE SAME. While completely different with different adventures and characters and overall conflicts, underneath all that busyness are the same nagging pro...more

RATING: 2.5 Out Of 5

“This is something you can't deny. You belong with me. You're mine.”

Firstly let me just say that I’m disappointed in this book cover, not what’s on the cover but instead the colour of the cover itself. Colour wise, it looks too much like the first one. How can you go from a blue, to an orangey to then a bluey-purple? The first two are such bright and vibrant book covers that it makes me feel disappointed in this one. Usually when it comes to book colours there are three prima...more
