I am not the kind of girl who is into jewelry - just look at how I reacted to the "inappropriate necklace" - but I couldn't help but be dazzled by the gem artistry in this book. The inticacy, decadence, and craftsmanship of these jewelled confections place them into the realm of artistry rather than jewelry. I'm sure that there are women who wear these in real life, but I can't help but think that they should be placed in a fine art museum. Better security for one, plus the rest of us commoners...more
