"The Heart's Forgiveness" by Merrillee Whren is a follow up to her book "Loved Walked In" with the oldest brother Grady Reynolds. Again the book deals with hypocrisy but in a much different way. I found that the book had both good and bad points to it.

I was sadly not overly fond of this book for there was too much internal thought and not a lot of action, and even the thought seemed to go round and round in a circle. I am not one to say a book should have been a novella but this story would have

The Heart’s Forgiveness has been a very pleasant read. It is not a story about a first-time bride or husband. It is a story about a man with a family who is a widower with issues. The heroine has her own issues. The story shows the ways God brings them together. There are some emotional feelings but no strong sexual scenes. I really don't expect a lot out of the shorter books. However, this one really sucked. I felt it was to weepy (and for me that's saying a lot). The main character spent most of the book with the "oh poor me, my father worked long hours and didn't go to every school event, so my adult life is horrible and I can't love or trust anyone."
