My review is for the book pictured, not the book described. The ISBN number I input matches; however, the synopsis of the book is not correct. This is a nonfiction book for children. It is not a collection of stories.

For the most part it's what it says on the tin, a collection of dinosaur-centered short stories. My only criticism is that I think better choices could have been made for some of the selections. Bradbury's "The Fog Horn" is lovely, but he has at least two other Dino-stories that would have fit the theme much more aptly.

You could tell which writers actually did research on dinosaurs before they wrote their story.

I was disapointed in some of the stories cause they bearly had anything to do with dinosaurs at all. Most were good though, some were sorta disterbing. Over all a good read.

I wish there was more good fiction out there about dinosaurs. Most of the ones I've found are loosly based about prehistoric creatures and there really isn't any thought put into them except for the fact that dinosaurs can eat peopl

Martin Harry Greenberg was an American academic and speculative fiction anthologist. In all, he compiled 1,298 anthologies and commissioned over 8,200 original short stories. He founded Tekno Books, a packager of more than 2000 published books. In addition, he was a co-founder of the Sci-Fi Channel.
