I think she hit on a point that was incredibly true...one is heavy in spirit before being heavy in body. Totally me. I also think the connecting with something greater is a big deal too and that there's only really two emotions in life: Love/Fear and if you are loving yourself truly then you won't eat.

Every once in awhile a book about right eating and keeping it all in line with God's best for my life is something I need. I want to be able to do the things He is asking me to do. Overeating and eating wrong things depletes me of necessary energy and mental alertness that I desperately need.
And that applying spiritual concepts to the issue can help you ease up on the self-violence that often accompany body image issues.

There's lots of interesting, though-provoking ideas in this book. Highly recommended.
It teaches that all healing is through the Savior and we need to give or surrender our will to Him, surrender all our experiences, emotions, everything to Him - the good and the bad.
Its been a beautiful way for me to love my body, love myself, understand what is holding me back from losing weight, and to find peace.
