Truthfully, I was a little confused when this story started out. I continued with it, because confusion is not a deterrent! The story is about a vampire names Andreas (which is why I was so confused...didn't really get that until a couple of pages in) and being in the wrong place at the wrong time; quite literally! He wanted to be in Brisbane, 2011; that's not where he ended up. What happened next was not at all expected, but it made for a pleasant surprise. The ending was a happy one for all pa...more
Ok, why I gave the book just one star:
The whole book confused me.
Nothing against the main characters, they were all right, I guess; but until the end I thought that Andreas was send into the past by a woman not by a man. Yes, it confused me that a wizard was called a 'witch'.
Second: when Andreas and Rurik had sex the first time; II thought that Leif pretended to be asleep and therefore was left out, but suddenly he was right in it? have I overlooked something?
So, yes, that's why it only got one...more

Andreas, a vampire, was accidentally sent to a Viking village in the past by his witch friend. The village was led by Rorik, a handsome viking leader, and his number two, Thorik. There was also a young man, Leif, who was taken from other village and was treated as a semi-slave there. An unplanned events led Leif to be bonded with Andreas and Rorik. Meanwhile, the beast inside Rorik was eyeing the newcomer as his mate...
I usually am not into menage, but I enjoyed reading this one.

This has such an epic feel and I was thrilled that each of the main characters had their own voice. I love being able to get inside each of their heads to better know and understand them. More often than not my heart was in my throat..
Lots of angst, lots of doubt and fear but beautifully balanced with lots of hope and ultimately three times the love.
Speaking of love.. I would love to read more about all of these people... didn't want to see "the end".

What a wonderfully complex story with so many intriguing aspects! The humor was fantastic:) I had a LOL moment when I read: "oh God; he would kill for a roll of toilet paper. He had learnt the hard way that not all leaves were good for that type of thing." I liked the angst and struggle as the three men tried to come to terms with the challenges of their newly forged m/m/m relationship. Very rich and wonderfully written! Great job:)

Wow! Just wow! What a fantastic read. Norma's writing is fresh as ever and she made that viking village jump off the pages and come to life with ease, like she does with everything she writes. I have a very good knowledge of viking history (me being Icelandic and all) and I was blown away! I can't wait to see more from this author.
I didn't know what this was about because I didn't read the blurb, and I was definitely surprised! This short is packed full of vamps, weres, magic, and time travel. It was very well developed for its length and I enjoyed the story.
