This was a good short story and has me interested in the rest of the Diary of the Displaced series. However, I'm not a big fan of this type of "diary" writing style. If the novels in the series are written the same way, I think I would have a tough time getting through them. In a short story format, it worked well.
But, zombie lovers be forewarned -- this isn't your typical zombie gore fest.

Glynn is a writer of Dark Sci-fi and Horror novels, born in Wellingborough, England, in 1972. He hasn't managed to escape from there yet.
