A selection of excerpts from fiction books by Canadian authors for young readers. They are organized by province from west to east. It was really interesting to read them all together and I think the stories chosen were wonderful. It made me want to read the books in full.

This anthology enabled me to "introduce" my eldest daughter to Canadian authors she hadn't read yet. It also introduced me to a few authors I had never heard of and to add their works to our private library.

Kit Pearson spent her childhood between Edmonton Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia. As a high-school student, she returned to Vancouver to be educated at Crofton House School.
