Romero by Elizabeth Reyes Book 4 in the Moreno Brother's Series
How does one go about telling about Romero? In the earlier books we see him as the one always getting drunk early and only caring about what girls he can pick up at the parties. And his mouth, well the words that come out of it, not good. Be warned that Romero was raised by his two uncles and they are... well...Manny and Max are hilarious but pretty crude. They love their boy they raised and straightened out some of their activities...more

Isabel and Romero are total opposites. She’s a quiet middle school teacher from a well educated family who likes to be in control. Romero on the other hand is anything but quiet and controlled. Personally, though I like Elizabeth Reyes' writing and I thought i'd love Romero's character, I wasn't too crazy about his and Izzy's relationship. I always got the impression that Romero would be this all around tough headed goofball with a possesive streak, but this was way over the top (and I thought Alex had set the bar on that one). Romero is a ladies man and is always one for nothing series when it comes to girls but in comes Isobel ( who is Valeries roommate) and she sparks his intrest like no woman ever has. But Isobel is so diffrent from him he really doesnt think he is good enough.

Romero has a temper from hell, a foul mouth, he's violent and he comes from the worst parents but damn if he's not adorable when he wants to be.

I really like this book! i loved reading about romeros crazy uncles and Izzys very uptight and proper fmaily and how these two in love can try to make it work. It was cool seeing things from romeros point of view since hes always been in the background of the other stories and it was interesting not reading from a Morenos point of view. overall i loved this book like i did the others:)

You know those stories about a hero that kidnaps the heroine and after spending time together they fall in love and they forget about the whole incident? Well I'm the reader that just keeps shouting at the book "Stockholm syndrome!!" Awwwww Romero is so SWEET. The more I read about these characters, the more I love them. Isabel and Romero are opposites that fit perfectly together. Their relationship is intensely passionate. They bring out all the emotions in each other. They are too freaking cute together. I love seeing the softer side of Romero. I wasn't expecting to adore him as much as I do now.

Romero is the 4th book in the "Moreno Brothers" series..although technically not a Moreno he has been a fixture since book 1 as a "brother from a different mother" (not cool to say anymore apparently I've been told but it explains it so well, I'm obviously showing my age hahahaha)....I zoomed through this one, again could not put it down, except to go listen to a song that kept playing in my head when I read it, "Hey Jealousy" by Gin Blossoms. Credit where credit's due, Reyes' is AMAZING!!

Isabel Montenegro is a middle school teacher from a well educated family with the need for neatness and perfection in her life. Ramon Romero is the tornado to Isabel’s calm spring day. At first I was not really into this book. I didn't really care for Isabel in Always Been Mine. In fact, at the beginning of this book, I was wishing that Claire was the girl he would end up with, and he barely mentioned her in the beginning. But as the story went on, Isabel grew on me. I ended up liking her character much more in this book than in Alex and Valerie's book.

My friend, Ann, loaned me this book out of order from the series so I've read this one first. I have to say that this is the most toxic relationship ever. I found myself really pissed off at Izzy and Ramero throughout most of the book. I thought her family was justified in her assessment of him through and through. I love Romero!!! This was the best in the series yet and am really looking forward to reading about Sal. I honestly didn't think I would like this book all that much because Romero did not impress me in Forever Mine. Reading Always Been Mine piqued my curiosity and i'm glad it did! Romero was my favorite of The Moreno Brothers series. I've enjoyed all of the books but I really loved Romero. I like that all of Reyes' characters have real flaws and Romero is no exception. It was great to really see why he is the way he is, and as an added bonus his uncles are hilarious!! At first I was a bit worried because Romero wasn't depicted in the best light in the other books but this one will make you fall in love with him!
Ok so I can't get enough of this series! Each story makes me what to know so much more about all of the characters in these books because I have fallen in love with each of them. Romero and Izzy's story was so passionate, and crazy, and like the others SO intense.

Romero technically is not a Moreno but he definitely deserves to have his story told. He grew up with the Moreno brothers. Isabel is introduced to the Moreno family via Valerie at the wedding shower for Angel and Sarah. She was supposed to be introduced to Sal, the eldest Moreno brother. So glad that did not happen. After reading the first three Moreno brothers with Romero in it, I was looking forward for this book. But I was in for a very big surprise. I saw Romero as someone who is funny and cracks out a whole lot of joke, however, readers saw a different kind of Romero this time: he was not perfect, especially when he’s drunk (which we all know), he was really possessive (I don’t think he trusts Izzy), and has scary anger management issues that I think should’ve been addressed by the author more properly...more

This book was amazing! i was a little nervous to read the story because i felt like i was cheating on the brothers but it was amazing.
I honestly did not like Romero in the other books, but fell in love with him in this one! His intensity is almost too much to bear at times, bordering on crazy/scary.
