I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for Sal's book.

Romero by Elizabeth Reyes Book 4 in the Moreno Brother's Series

How does one go about telling about Romero? In the earlier books we see him as the one always getting drunk early and only caring about what girls he can pick up at the parties. And his mouth, well the words that come out of it, not good. Be warned that Romero was raised by his two uncles and they are... well...Manny and Max are hilarious but pretty crude. They love their boy they raised and straightened out some of their activities...more

Isabel and Romero are total opposites. She’s a quiet middle school teacher from a well educated family who likes to be in control. Romero on the other hand is anything but quiet and controlled. When these two meet, there’s an instant intrigue that turns into fireworks. Can two people with so many differences make it work?

I’ve really enjoyed this series. I think the Romero brothers are a little high strung for my taste, but they sure are interesting to read about. Romero was a little too possessi...more

Personally, though I like Elizabeth Reyes' writing and I thought i'd love Romero's character, I wasn't too crazy about his and Izzy's relationship. I always got the impression that Romero would be this all around tough headed goofball with a possesive streak, but this was way over the top (and I thought Alex had set the bar on that one). Though I wasn't a fan of Isabel's family (some of them, because I liked Art) or their opinion of Romero, I couldn't help but feel that they were justified in th...more

Loved it as i knew i would..

Romero is a ladies man and is always one for nothing series when it comes to girls but in comes Isobel ( who is Valeries roommate) and she sparks his intrest like no woman ever has. But Isobel is so diffrent from him he really doesnt think he is good enough.

I dont want to give to much away beacuase i want everyone to go out and read this awsome book.

This relationship has its ups and downs and i loved it becuase Romero and Isobel are so diffrent that they make an awsom...more

Romero has a temper from hell, a foul mouth, he's violent and he comes from the worst parents but damn if he's not adorable when he wants to be.
I borrowed this book online and I forget how much I enjoy Elizabeth Reyes books. My favorite book had been Angel and Sarah's story. Now Romero and Izzy are my favorite couple.
Romero needs to take a few courses in anger management but his heart is always in the right place. He and Izzy balance each other and complement each other well.
Great story. Romeo's...more

I really like this book! i loved reading about romeros crazy uncles and Izzys very uptight and proper fmaily and how these two in love can try to make it work. It was cool seeing things from romeros point of view since hes always been in the background of the other stories and it was interesting not reading from a Morenos point of view. overall i loved this book like i did the others:)

Izzy and Romero

What happens when you get a short fused Alpha Male and a picture perfect school teacher together? Lots and lots of steam! Meddling parents, deception, the need to protect the one you love, and lots of humor describe the tale of the story of Izzy and Romero. And let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint. Although Romero isn't a true Moreno brother by blood, he has got all of the style of the Moreno's and grew up with them so, just like in any tight knit family, he is a Moreno brother...more

You know those stories about a hero that kidnaps the heroine and after spending time together they fall in love and they forget about the whole incident? Well I'm the reader that just keeps shouting at the book "Stockholm syndrome!!" So when I read a book about a jealous alpha hero I usually complain about their high-handed attitudes but I've never really been afraid of a hero...until Romero.

Romero would be the crazy stalker ex in any other book, but here he's the hero and I really feel like I'm...more

I loved the characters - in general. The story was great - in general. I loved the loyalty, the passion - in general.

There was my four star. Now the minus one star, and I am thinking I should take away an other star because seriously this really creeps me out.

The obsession. I mean freaking hell! If a man touched her! If a man even freaking breathed next to her! Jeeez.... I'm sorry, I don't care how fabulous he is, if he was my man he'd be out the door. I don't care if he breaks without me or I w...more

Awwwww Romero is so SWEET. The more I read about these characters, the more I love them. Isabel and Romero are opposites that fit perfectly together. Their relationship is intensely passionate. They bring out all the emotions in each other. They are too freaking cute together. I love seeing the softer side of Romero. I wasn't expecting to adore him as much as I do now.

Isabel’s sister, Pat, annoyed the heck out of me. I cringed whenever she came around and started running her mouth. Isabel’s pati...more

Romero is the 4th book in the "Moreno Brothers" series..although technically not a Moreno he has been a fixture since book 1 as a "brother from a different mother" (not cool to say anymore apparently I've been told but it explains it so well, I'm obviously showing my age hahahaha)....I zoomed through this one, again could not put it down, except to go listen to a song that kept playing in my head when I read it, "Hey Jealousy" by Gin Blossoms. Credit where credit's due, Reyes' is AMAZING!!

Isabel Montenegro is a middle school teacher from a well educated family with the need for neatness and perfection in her life. Ramon Romero is the tornado to Isabel’s calm spring day. Romero who came from a totally different family life then Isabel makes quite an impression on her from the moment they meet.

Romero by Elizabeth Reyes was a good read, not my favorite in the series but overall it was good. I think Romero could have handled his temper a lot better. It was super crazy, I never got t...more

At first I was not really into this book. I didn't really care for Isabel in Always Been Mine. In fact, at the beginning of this book, I was wishing that Claire was the girl he would end up with, and he barely mentioned her in the beginning. But as the story went on, Isabel grew on me. I ended up liking her character much more in this book than in Alex and Valerie's book.

It was neat getting into Romero's head. In the other books he was sort of goofy. But I liked him a lot in this. This was also...more

My friend, Ann, loaned me this book out of order from the series so I've read this one first. I have to say that this is the most toxic relationship ever. I found myself really pissed off at Izzy and Ramero throughout most of the book. I thought her family was justified in her assessment of him through and through. The worst part of that is Izzy did nothing to change their opinion of him, and Ramero didn't do anything to help himself. Clearly he has anger management problems, and I was disappoin...more

I love Romero!!! This was the best in the series yet and am really looking forward to reading about Sal. I honestly didn't think I would like this book all that much because Romero did not impress me in Forever Mine. Reading Always Been Mine piqued my curiosity and i'm glad it did! Romero is definitely the most improved man of the series and he is just as sweet and loyal as Angel. Sorry Eric but Romero outranks you in every way :). So sweet and adorable, I wish it didn't end. Izzy is cute too an...more

Romero is the latest novel in the Moreno Brothers series by Elizabeth Reyes. Romero has been around since the beginning of this series. He grew up around Angel (Forever Mine) and Sal (Making You Mine), and his two best friends are Alex (Always Been Mine) and Eric (Sweet Sofie). Since the first novel in this series, Romero has been my least favorite character. His lewd remarks, his filthy language, and his tough gu...more

Romero was my favorite of The Moreno Brothers series. I've enjoyed all of the books but I really loved Romero. I like that all of Reyes' characters have real flaws and Romero is no exception. It was great to really see why he is the way he is, and as an added bonus his uncles are hilarious!! At first I was a bit worried because Romero wasn't depicted in the best light in the other books but this one will make you fall in love with him!

Ok so I can't get enough of this series! Each story makes me what to know so much more about all of the characters in these books because I have fallen in love with each of them. Romero and Izzy's story was so passionate, and crazy, and like the others SO intense.

Romero is a ladies man. Not ever feeling the urge to get to know any woman better(beyond their name and sometimes not even that) he finds it a little striking that Valerie's roommate, Isabel Montenegro(Izzy), catches his interest so com...more

Romero technically is not a Moreno but he definitely deserves to have his story told. He grew up with the Moreno brothers. Isabel is introduced to the Moreno family via Valerie at the wedding shower for Angel and Sarah. She was supposed to be introduced to Sal, the eldest Moreno brother. So glad that did not happen. I think Izzy and Romero are a great match. She is his calm to his storm. Their passion was undeniable. Their love making after an argument (mostly Romero’s temper) was hot and steamy...more

Romero is the 4th book in the Moreno Brothers series. Although, Romero isn't a Moreno by blood, he is as close as family with the Moreno family. With this book, the author introduces us to Romero's less than perfect world and the things that have shaped him. Romero's Dad is in jail and he has been raised by his two uncles who own a topless bar. Manny and Max, Romero's uncles are crass and in your face loud but they love Romero beyond words. Romero has never been ashamed of his upbringing and bee...more

The 4th book of Moreno Brothers Series is surprisingly better than the previous. (Well, I haven't read the 3rd book yet, but the first 2 books can't really get into me). I've planned to jumped to book 5, Making You Mine because something about that brainy eldest Moreno interested me. But my friend convinced me to try this one, and she's right. It's way more interesting than the cliche Forever Mine and boring Always Been Mine.

From 'Always Been Mine' we had known how Romero and Isabel met...more

After reading the first three Moreno brothers with Romero in it, I was looking forward for this book. But I was in for a very big surprise. I saw Romero as someone who is funny and cracks out a whole lot of joke, however, readers saw a different kind of Romero this time: he was not perfect, especially when he’s drunk (which we all know), he was really possessive (I don’t think he trusts Izzy), and has scary anger management issues that I think should’ve been addressed by the author more properly...more

This book was amazing! i was a little nervous to read the story because i felt like i was cheating on the brothers but it was amazing.

I honestly did not like Romero in the other books, but fell in love with him in this one! His intensity is almost too much to bear at times, bordering on crazy/scary. However, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Elizabeth Reyes has a way to make you fall in love with these guys even when you really didn't think you could or want to! I loved that Izzy and Romero came from different worlds, but yet find common ground to make their relationship work. Romero is definitely a passionate man (fa...more

Romero is book 4, and focuses on non-Moreno Romero. Though he is not a member of the family, he is involved in every book so far and Angel’s best friend.

This is my favourite book of the bunch. Romero has developed in each book, starting off as the idiot, drunken friend of Angel he becomes a good friend and helps Alex in book two with his own security business and has begun a relationship with Isabel, book three reflects on his childhood, along with the rest of the characters and again, shows him...more

“He didn’t say a word and she didn’t ask anything else, just ran her fingers through his hair until his breathing began to calm. Without letting go of her or even pulling away to face her he finally whispered against her ear, “Please don’t leave me. I promise I’ll try harder.” Slowly he pulled away and their eyes met. “I’m nothing without you, Izzy.” 38 people liked it
