After reading the whole trilogy, I could probably sum up my whole conclusion in two sentences.
First, Jake is an ass.
And Aly is a masochist.
There. Done.
The last installment in the SSDTU series is filled with drama, intrigue and so much surprise that will knock you off your feet. It's a whirlwind of events that will make you crazy with drama, anger, frustration, giddyness and all your emotions will be flying off. Despite all that, I didn't like it. Here is a thorough explanation.
It's not that it More...

So, Jake DID sleep with Chloe.
So cool.
Not.
And read this if you please:
'But that is easier said than done when Jake starts blowing Ally off to go to doctor's appointments with Chloe'.
Well.
Just...well. He was all 'I love you Ally' and now we are to read and see not only the fact that he DID sleep with Chloe but he is blowing Ally of for the baby?
No.
Just,...no.
I am not reading this.
EDIT
I said I to myself: ‘Dina, do not read this. DO NOT DO IT! You only get pissed off when you read these books. So, More...

Oh my god!! I just finished it and wow is all i can say. And also you will not be disappointed, well beside the fact that it is the end of the series which was really depressing when you got to the last page. i am in tears at the moment because its all over. 3 books sure goes fast. Looking back on it it has been an amazing series. when my friend first recommended it to me i wasn't too sure about it, but now that girl has become my new best friend. I loved it. every chapter. every page. every par More...

Why oh why did I INSIST on reading this book? I just KNEW it was going to piss me off, and I just KNEW it was going to make me cry. Damnit! I hated it - absolutely HATED it!
I'm a sucker for cute, fun romantic comedies, and I love reading Scott's books whenever I'm in the mood for a light fluff. But this series is SO different from her other books because it was anything but light, and I don't know why I ever doubted Scott could ever write anything so serious. The fact that Jake had slept with Chloe annoyed me and it had suddenly lost my interest and care for Jake now. Even though i don't believe Jake's the father. I still dislike him at the moment for sleeping with Chloe. He was obviously in love with Ally, but why sleep with Chloe? I know that he was jealous of Will, but why? does he really like her?
This book better not disappoint me.
Edit: What i thought - Meh. Jake did annoyed me in the book but great storyline. Kinda predictable. Maybe its the fac More...

Sadly, the series, IMHO, has gone down the drain~_~ It used to be so awesome. I loved Jake and Ally together in the first book. And as the story progressed, the list as to why they shouldn't be together just kept getting longer. I now hate to think that Ally and Jake would be still together in college. Honestly, Ally should just find someone better in college. She deserves more than the jerk and horndog Jake. I can't even begin to list of the several times he's thought of dirty stuff with other More...

I JUST FINISHED READING IT. So sad the trilogy is over, gotta love this series.. great YA read told from two perspectives. I am really liking the whole see it from the others perspective, I always feel like I get to see more from a book when it is seen from two sides, and I must say that this is becoming a trend with the recently published YA books. Anyways back to the book, you cannot imagine how badly the last book left me in absolute turmoil. The shocking twist (well we all kind of saw it com More...

3.5/5 stars
This is So Not Happening is the final book in this contemporary trilogy by Kieran Scott. I loved the first book and enjoyed the second and third books. However I really do think this series would have been better off as a stand alone or even a dualogy. In order not to give any spoilers, I can't write much about the events happening in this book. But most of the characters annoyed me so much, starting with Jake and Ally who are the main protagonists. Jake was too much of a macho male w More...

I had to really think about if I was going to rate this 2 or 3 stars. So I went for 2.5 stars.
First thought: This series became a whole lot dramatic.
I didn't like a lot of things with this book. My number one problem was Jake. He literally was acting like a girl. When Chloe told him she was pregnant he ditched his own girlfriend (who BTW sort of supported and tried to understand his actions) to go with Chloe to her doctor appointments and he acted like it was the worst thing in the world. He com More...

I can't believe it's over! I'm so sad! I've always liked this trilogy, because for once, I could feel completely absorbed by a story that didn't have anything supernatural. I can admit, that for 50% of the book, I was beyond furious, but it was a good kind of furious. It's the kind of furious that has you wanting to tear through the pages faster and faster, until you don't know where all the pages went. That's what the story did to me for 50% of the book. After I got past that, I found that I wa More...

I loved this series. Sure, Jake made a mistake. A huge one, in fact but I think that's what makes them so real. A lot of other romance books are great but the hero is just a little too perfect. I mean, will all guys just magically know when to come to your rescue and to ALWAYS put you first? Unlikely but we gals can dream. (Sorry if I offend anyone who believes in prince charmings) But, this book shows otherwise. It shows times where Jake doesn't put Ally in the first place and the struggles in More...

I enjoyed this entire trilogy and this last book wraps everything up, making the characters grow up, particularly Jake, and head toward what's next in their lives.
The story is told again in the voices of Jake and Ally and as before, this works well. You get to be in each of their heads so you know not only what they do, but what they think and feel. I'd have liked a bit of clarity from Jack at times, but I think he was so busy feeling that he wasn't rationally thinking things through sometimes.

i have one question. hammond has loved ally forever, right? even when she turned him cold, he went out with chloe, still MADLY in love with ally, and even after the break up he wanted her. so i was thinking, shouldnt there have been something, sort of like a jealousy plan or I dont know SOMETHING, when he went out with Quinn, her step sister? I mean, he LOVED ally after all these years through everything. im quite certain that someone doesnt just drop that massive a crush over like a chapter. i More...

Okay, so I was reading some of the other people's 'reviews,' which are mostly all just rants. You want to know my thoughts? Here they are:
People, you for real need to chill out.
How can you people be mad at Jake for "blowing Ally off for doctor appointments"? Don't get me wrong, I love Ally's character but come on, now. I think it's a bit selfish of her to get mad over that. Would you rather him be the type who denies the baby and leaves Chloe to do everything herself? I honestly hate guys who a More...

Mrs. Beamer's Review:
I was looking forward to reading this trilogy...the book covers drew me in (loved them!)... and I wasn't disappointed. I read all three books in four days :) While nothing earth-shattering happened, the books managed to hold my interest. Honestly, while reading into the early hours of the morning I kept asking myself "why can't I put these books down?"...and I truly couldn't come up with a better answer other than "I want to keep reading them."

Recommended for High School, not for Middle School! Countless uses of the F-word, and plenty of minor profanity. Non-graphic references to sexual encounter leading to teen pregnancy.
This is the third book in the He’s So/She’s So trilogy. It stands alone reasonably well, although there are many characters that were introduced in the previous books. Narrated by Jake and Ally, an on again/off again couple. Their friend, Chloe, turns up pregnant at the beginning of the book and points the finger at More...

I liked She's So Dead to Us but very annoyed by He's So Not Worth It, I hated it so much. But then I decided to give a chance on the last book of this series, well, it's quite a make up after the last book.
Struck by the most freaking blow a teen could get, Ally and Jake were pushed to get on their maturity. Kieran Scott presented an exceptional writing on descibing both Ally and Jake's POV. I loved the way they put themself on settling problems, still with all their flaws, but very understandabl More...

Wow...stayed up 'til 2:05 am just to finish this because it's one of those books that you CANNOT put down until you get to the happy ending where everyone lives "happily ever after."
An intensely deep book. As you read, you really begin to sympathize with Ally as if you were the one in her situation and you begin to be just as frustrated with Jake as he is with himself. You have this on-off love/hate relationship with each of the characters but by the end you come to LOVE every single one of the More...

The Cresties and Norms are back in this third and final instalment in the He's So/She's So series, with Ally and Jake taking centre stage. There's more drama than an episode of Revenge, with so many twists and turns that it's hard to keep up. Talk about a jam-packed finale!
This is So Not Happening occasionally suffers from being slightly too long, but only once or twice did I find my attention waning. Besides that, I was glued to the pages, mouth agape, wondering how Ally and Jake were going to More...

As Posted on TheReaderBee.com.
I started reading this series last year, and I really enjoyed reading the first two books in the series. I was so excited when ‘This is So Not Happening’ finally arrive in my mailbox. I couldn’t wait to dig into it.
After the events from the previous book left me hanging, I was really excited to see what would happen to the characters in this book. I definitely enjoyed Ally more in this book than I did in He’s So Not Worth It. Poor girl, she finally gets her life ba More...

Jake & Ally are back for senior year, and if the course of true love weren't complicated enough, one-night stand Chloe claims Jake as the father of her baby bump. Good guy Jake steps up and tries to keep everything together in his suddenly less-than-perfect life, and between getting pummeled by Chloe's baby daddy wannabe on the soccer field, studying for the SAT, and trying to finally enjoy his relationship with Ally, it's a lot to handle. Meanwhile, Ally has to endure boyfriend Jake skippin More...

This series needs to continue- it just has to! After the way things were left in He's So Not Worth It, I couldn't stand not knowing what was going to happen next. Well folks let me tell you something, Jake isn't the Prince Charming you think he is. I'll post a full review on the blog next week! :)

Wow, with the end of this trilogy, this book really did disappoint me. I loved the first two books, and I just couldn't stand how this book was so predictable and frustrating. I mean, it's pretty realistic - but Jake makes such stupid mistakes. All the time. This was such a lengthy book too, and ugh.
Chloe's pregnant. And Jake hooked up with Chloe over the summer. And Jake and Ally are back together. Say what? That's just messed up. There's all this drama revolving around Chloe's pregnancy, and More...

This Is So Not Happening is the satisfying final installment of the immensely readable He's So/She's So trilogy. It is important to have read both of the previous books to be up to date with the characters' paths up to this point. Just as Jake and Ally's relationship is poised to move forward positively, friend Chloe turns up pregnant, pointing to Jake as the father. With great strength of character, Ally values her relationship with Jake enough to do everything she can to be supportive. Jake is More...
